Far be it from my to figure out why BB manufacturers can't even pick a spline diameter and pattern for external cup BBs so you need multiple tools for what is essentially the same piece of hardware. But, suffice to say, this fits an Ultegra BBR60 perfectly. Considerably less expensive than the Shimano or Park equivalent and for a tool that you use maybe 3 times (see comment above regarding constant changes to BB specs) that fits the bill. The advantage of a tool with a square bit like this compared to a wrench-style is that you can attach to the torque wrench.

Fit perfect for my Shimano bottom bracket and functioned perfectly. Great value vs the “blue brand”. Build quality seems good for you’re home mechanic.

Works for me, as intended (when seated snugly onto bottom bracket covers), otherwise you’ll get slippage. Probably best done with tool facing up & frame secured to a wooded vice; if your having difficulty with fastening/removing it from the side/when bike is standing in normal form, on it’s tires.

I was in a bind sourcing an a tool. Saw this on Amazon at a price that seemed too good to be true. It allowed me to service my XT801 bottom bracket to spec with a torque wrench. Very impressed with the quality for the price. Would buy again if needed.

This has to be hands down one of the best bottom bracket tools that i have have ever used! It is lightweight, yet sturdy and does not mar up The bottom bracket cup And don't let me forget the mention, this is a very great price! I would one hundred percent recommend this to anybody!

This is a high quality tool that allows you to use regular tools to tighten and loosen bottom bearing brackets with a simple 3/8 drive. This allows use of a torque wrench to get the exact tightness specified by the manufacturer. It is also easy to keep the tool square and in contact with the bearing cap avoiding slip and scarring of the cap.

Its OK but fells soft
