I absolutely love these! These little flashlights are perfect for so many uses. For me, I have a variety of places where I need a light that's easy to grab and easy to use. I bought one pack of two, and I'll be buying at least another one! Each light uses three AAA batteries. You can pull on part of the light and change the light from wide to narrow focus. The lights are bright (I don't know how they compare to traditional flashlights, but they seem quite bright to me, and as bright as others I have or had, plus the convenience factor!)Right now, I have one on my desk, one by the bed. Handy at night when I'm looking for something and don't want to turn on full lights. I plan on getting some (command) hooks and hanging these so they always have a home. Just a week ago, our power went out during a storm, and even though I say I'm going to have emergency lights in ONE SPOT, I never do. They get moved around. With a hook (there's a little strap on each light), I can always put them back. I plan to get another one for the kitchen (sometimes that tiny print on box mixes is too tiny for me, and these lights are perfect for lighting up the text) and one more in a central spot. Next power outage, I hope to be able to know exactly where my lights are.Have I said I love these lights? Plusses...the flashlight is small, light, and easy to store. The beam, with fresh batteries, is bright. The focus function is useful.Con #1...it devours batteries. I use it to take my dog out for short night walks. The beam dims quickly and the batteries have to be replaced too often.Con #2 ...the need to toggle past the two flashing functions is annoying.After a few months, I'm ordering a different flashlight today. This will go in my emergency kit where the flashing alerts might be useful, not annoying.
