The deep sound of this bell is exactly what I was looking for. We get a lot of wind in our backyard so I have the pleasure of hearing the bell often. Its resonance is calming encounters, another set of bells that I have that are much higher. Because I found this sound very comforting. It was worth the price, but I do think they are a little on the pricey side. It seems very sturdy and can tolerate the high winds that we have had here in Texas lately.

Love the deep renaissance sound, have to admit for the price I was not impressed with the fact that when it arrived the chime chain was very tangled up and broken, so I had to work on it before I could even hang it. It’s not perfect but it’s perfect enough to enjoy the sounds. Overall it’s the sound when the wind blows it that matters to me. I would recommend it, just because mine came broken doesn’t mean yours will.

The sound is nice but it comes unassembled. It was very difficult to get the clanger hook through the top to attach the hanging chain. My hand barely fit into it. Finally i used a paper clip to hook the clanger hook to the hanging loop but now it is not clanging on its own even with the wind blowing. I think the chain is too long because the hook did not go through the slit in the top. Very disappointed. Update: I fiannly got it setup according to the picture and hung it up. that was a couple of weeks ago and it hardly ever rings. Only a good strong wind makes it ring. I would not recommend it at all.
