I purchased this item to assist with my canning. These items are well built, great value, and easy to use. Functionality is easy; anyone can use them. You can hand wash or put them in the dishwasher, whichever is easier for the person using them. The plastic on the handles doesn't feel like plastic, which is reassuring, seems like it will last longer. The color is a standard grey which will match with anything. I would recommend.

This is a great, useful kit for beginners like myself! I’ve found everything to be useful. All love that it’s stainless steel!

Everything is basically as ordered.Everything is smaller than normal Canning utensils. The jar holder that removes hot jars is a manual It Is not spring-loaded like my old one. The The funnel is more suited for small mouth Jars VS wide mouth jars and the height of the funnel is not very high which if you're not cautious could overflow and possibly injure yourself. What I Was excited about what's the ladle, Which is exceptionally small Two and a half inches little bit more In diameter and not very deep at all. Not something I would use to be dipping. Boiling hot jams or jellies and definitely would not be large enough to scoop out much if you're doing vegetables. But as a beginner kit for someone... it's okay. Worth The money. Very light weight.

This was just what I needed. Everything in one easy to use kit. Water bath rack does not fit on standard size pot must have wider stock pot.

The media could not be loaded. So excited to try canning for 1st time. These supplies are expensive at store. I feel this is a great value. Tools are good quality seem to be made well. I like that they have rubber gripping so it doesn't get hot or slip out of your hands. It comes with 8 items plus Bonus cute little labels for jars. Bonus it all fits in this little box almost flat. This does not include jars.

All of the pieces are as described but not all work as they should. The ladle is 1/4 the size of a regular ladle. The jar opener will not open regular mouth jars. The basket will only hold 6 quart jars which is one less than most canners will hold. The magnetic piece is not strong enough to pick the lids up when they’re in a pot of water. You must first turn the lid sideways or else it will keep dropping. The lids were of good quality. They pressure canned fine and are still holding a seal. The tongs are, well tongs. The funnel is nice. It is a regular mouth so it works on both types of jars. The set is ok in a pinch for something quick but it is not the best and a waste of money long term.

This was a complete canning set and everything was just what I needed. I saw where someone said the funnel was too small. Well, it was adequate for my use, I used it for green beans and tomatoes. The jar lifter worked perfect, the rack was great and I actually had 7 pints of beans in the rack at once. I could have done 8, but, it was close to midnight and I didn’t want to snap more green beans.This is a very durable set, not flimsy and washes up great in the dishwasher! Works very well for canning.Highly recommend!!!!!!
