How do you use this to repair a damaged corner piece of installed carpet ? I have a spare carpet piece and an iron.

Cut the carpet to shape. Then lay 1/2 of the strip on each side (under the carpet). Use a hot iron and drag in ontop the the glue side. Push your seam together.
