This hat has style and beauty. It can be worn to most any formal event. Good quality for the money.

Good hat, a really good hat, for the money. I wished it had been just a bit more quality on the wool - but that's a personal like and given the cost - it is just fine. I like the rigid style - which is how this style of hat should be - stiff, in-place and stays in place. This is NOT a crushable hat - so handle accordingly. On some men, I can see this style being a goof - on others very stylish, and a lot of that may be based on your circle of friends. For me the is purely a dress hat, matched up with a suit or sports coat I love it. I call it a modified Bowler Hat - Excellent value for your investment - even if you only wear it a few times a year.

True to the Homburg style, the material on this hat is very stiff, which makes playing with the brim all but impossible, but also ensures that it will hold its shape throughout the day. Only downside is that if someone sits on this thing, it's done. As in, forever. Dead. Gone. Bye bye. But if you are of any class at all, and you should be if you expect to be able to wear a Homburg in any respectable fashion, your hat will never be in the position of being sat or stepped on. My only real grip is that this thing is really tall compared to any of my other Homburgs. Nonetheless, if you are wearing the right suit and the right shoes, this really does put the proverbial icing on the cake.
