Great 5 day cooler
Took this to summer camp. It was between 75 and 95 for 5 days and this held our meat. It was able to keep ice when not opened frequently for 3 days without issues compared to our 3day cooler that could not hold ice for 1 day. The wheels make it easy to handle and the size is just right before getting too heavy to lift into the car (results may vary my wife disagrees here). In the end this is the only cooler that holds ice and food this long other than a yeti which is 3x more expensive.Been over a year now. Took it to summer camp again this year and has held up to the wear and tear of monthly campouts and bbqs. It has only had one problem where a handle came loose and snapped back into place without issue. I load it up at least monthly and the boys are into it as well which means it takes a beating. I would buy it again.4/3/17: Cooler still going strong and survived a few summers. I stored it on a shelf and it fell off ripping the lid off but for $6-$10 I can order replacements. I think I will go with the plastic so the hinge breaks and not the cooler. It lasted so long still 5 stars especially for the price.

Held ice blocks for 8 day trip
bought this cooler for an 8 day road trip through Southeast Arizona. I placed 3 blocks of ice in the bottom which still left room for food along side. I then place trays on top of the ice and loaded up 8 days worth of food for 2 people. This cooler reduced the need for always having to take 2 coolers in the past and constantly replacing the ice. We still had about 1/4 of each block of ice at the end of the trip. So it really does keep ice as advertised, and then some. Lid was very tight and secure even without having latches, which sounded like a weak point on other brands of coolers. Drained the water daily which was a surprisingly small amount compared to my older coolers. Drain plug was secure, wheels and handles worked great. All and all amazing quality product and for the price, truly outstanding compared to other options I looked at. Very happy and can recommend this cooler.

This cooler is amazing for price, but note that WARM DRINKS MELT ICE
The first thing I wanted to note in my review (and title) is that you should always fill coolers with cool/cold beverages whenever possible. If you throw 4 cases of warm or room temperature drinks into your cooler, your ice is going to melt. That's simple thermodynamics and the best cooler in the world can't prevent it.So when you see cooler reviews where people complain about the ice melting--ignore them unless they have clarified whether their drinks were warm or cold.I also recommend getting something like this to throw over it.Either that or make sure it's in shade at all times.[I've left this cooler in the sun and it still works great...but why do that to your ice?]https://smile.amazon.com/Stansport-Sportsmans-Polarshield-Emergency-Blanket/dp/B00069PDYIYou can Google tests and comparisons between this and other brands, such as Yeti. There is just no comparison between this and the other stupidly expensive options and cooling per dollar value.Every year I go to the same camping events at the same time of year and the first year we used this we were amazed at how long the ice lasted.About twice as long as my standard cooler.Friends have bought this based on my recommendation (again, for the price) and not been disappointed. My wife was careless with the smaller handle (not the giant one) and it broke off. While that stinks, it's also pretty obvious that a 40 pound cooler filled with ice and beverages should not be lifted by those tiny handles. On the plus side, they are very easy to replace.https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B000Q94W2M

Super COOL cooler!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS COOLER! It's really big. I could actually sit in it and I'm not a skinny person. After the picnic party, I decided to leave the remaining drinks and ice in the cooler to test it out. YEP, Stayed ICE COLD as promised for 5 days! I would have kept testing it longer, but it takes up a lot of space that I don't have. My only suggestion to Coleman is that it doesn't make sense to use only TWO wheels on something this big. Your smaller coolers, yes and even the medium sized ones, sure. But this monster needs FOUR wheels to move it when it's full of ice and beverages. Thank goodness my cousin is over six feet tall and strong as heck so he pulled it to our beach, but it would have been easier for him if it had four wheels. This is such a great product I would have paid a bit extra for the additional wheels because I tried to pull it first from the grocery store filled with ice and had to stop and pay some guy to do it for me. Love it though and can't wait to use it again!

Perfect! But I don't expect it to last
This cooler really keeps things cold, and it's a great size and has great features (large handle, wheels). We camped out for 5 days and still had plenty of ice at the end. Keep in mind when packing that you really do want to *fill* this thing with a high "quantity of cold." So, if you have a lot of air space, or if you're planning on cooling off warm beer in the cooler with existing ice on day 3, or if you're going to drink all of the cold liquids out of here on day 2, you will lose a lot of the "quantity of cold." Careful planning is important. In order to have the ice left over after heavy use after 4 days, we had the cooler probably half-full of ice and we pre-chilled everything to the minimum temperature possible before adding it in. By the end of the trip, there was almost no food or drinks left over, but we still had ice and cold packs left.Deducted one star because there are a lot of plastic parts in delicate places. I don't expect these handles to last through repeated haulings of 100+ lbs, or the plastic bendy hinges to last long at all. In fact, our neighbors camping had a similar style of cooler with screwed-on door hinges because theirs had broken.
