Any heat protectant by Chi is honestly the best! Saves your hair from so much damage. Even doing the TikTok trend of trying it on a Q-tip and then lighting it on fire, the heat protection saved the Q-tip completely. 10 out of 10 recommendation!

I grabbed the Chi Barbie Heat Protection while it was half off and am so glad that I did. The smell is divine. It is easy to spray onto hair and leaves hair soft, shiny, and manageable. This is a very lightweight formula that gives my hair some well needed heat protection while making it look fabulous. I haven’t noticed any oiliness while using, but I’m sure like any other product, if you over use you can end up with buildup and oily residue. I have noticed my hair has more volume and isn’t so “flat”. I am in love with this heat protection spray and will be buying more. Worth every penny!!!

This is the best hair product ever. I use it for tangles, frizz, and damage. Ever since I discovered it about 10 years ago I've been consistently using it. A MUST buy.

I have a lot of fine, straight, hair that doesn’t have much volume is very very rarely ever frizzy. This spray does not work well for my hair type beside protecting it from heat. Over about 6 or 7 tries of amounts and application approaches and trying on wet, damp and dry hair, I end up with frizzy hair every time and it is not enough to hold the curl or my blowout longer than 20 minutes. Then I’m left with crunchy, frizzy, bent hair that tangles easily from the stickiness. I’m honestly surprised that it did not prevent flyaways. I purchased this for a new curling iron that burnt my hair the first time I tried it and my hairdryer brush that gets very hot. It does protect hair against heat burning and has some hairspray hold quality, so I can see how it does work for some other hair types that cooperate well. I will likely only use this now for straightener heat protectant to touch up 2nd/3rd day hair due to how frizzy it makes my hair with blowouts and curling irons.

I absolutely love love love this heat protectant. It's literally the only heat protectant that works and fully protects my hair. The scent is more manly but I love it. You definitely don't need to use a lot that's for sure. The first time I used it I did what I normally would do. I straighten my hair layer by layer and I usually lightly spray each layer with protection spray. Big mistake!!! Too much equals bad hair day!! Now what I do is I blow dry my hair first then I spray through all of my hair after blow drying then I comb through and allow the spray to sit and dry for a few minutes and then straighten my hair. I haven't burned my hair since using this product. I'm extremely impressed with how well this product works and better yet it doesn't have any Dimethacone in it. Every product I buy has Dimethacone in it which makes my head itch so bad and causes terrible buildup in my hair. This product is now a must have in my bathroom!
