I bought this and the top pice both are definitely needed, yes full blast without headphones you're gonna hear them, headphones and game play going nothing, definitely helps with heat for sure i check the top fans air all the time and it's luke warm at best and most of the console its self is cold so with both pieces I can say you'll be able to play for a bit and be ok.

I got this cooling fan for my wife’s series x and she loves it so far. I’ve read other peoples comments on how they’re disappointed that it doesn’t cut off when you power down the Xbox. If you’ve used any, or all the included USB ports on the Xbox (3 in total) you will notice they ARE ALL TIME power sources for your devices!! I have on both mine and my wife’s series x’s a head set and stand, battery charger, and cooling fan using ALL of the the 3 USB ports and none go off with the Xbox!! We just turn the devices off manually when we are done playing for the night. In all, we are very pleased with this cooling fan and it keeps my wife’s Xbox nice and cool plus she digs the purple glow!!!I would also like to add for those reviews that question the high temperature that comes out of the EXHAUST vent even with this cooling fan and give it 1 or 2 stars because of it, that ALL electronic devices put off high amounts of heat but what’s important is how cool the INTERNAL parts are. If you’ve ever stood close to a car’s EXHAUST pipe you will fill heat coming from it when the car is running. This doesn’t mean that the cooling system is NOT working good, it actually means it IS working good because the hotter the EXHAUST temp is the better the heat dissipation of the cooling system is. I have one of those temperature monitoring fans on my series x and yes the EXHAUST temp gets over a 100 degrees when I’m playing a game but my INTAKE air is staying cool with this cooling fan!

I love my new stand. It’s a great place to put your Xbox X. The LED light makes a nice touch. Noise level is perfect and not loud at all. Value for money is worth it. Ease of installation, just plug it in and run it. Airflow keeps Xbox cool for long gaming sessions. Build quality is top tier. 5/5

Overall an amazing product for the series x. Will note you may have to take the fans apart which isn't hard to dust every so often

No longer using it. This things keeps turning on off by itself switching light modes on itself even when xbox is off.

The options for colors is very appealing to me. I really like the yellow for some reason. There are USB ports available. I would recommend not plugging this directly into the Xbox so as not to puter extra drain on your Power Supply Unit. It does what it says it will and boosts the overall Ambience of the surrounding area.

Solid. Decent RGB changes. Sturdy base, but the plastic feels thin.Fans move air and it's quiet, especially if you have headphones on.The 1st one was DOA, but Amazon did me solid and immediately shipped a 2nd. I will RMA the 1st one Monday.
