Why did you pick this product vs others?: Used these connectors in a Miata where I had added a remote entry system. Originally I tied into wires under the steering wheel and had two issues. Loose wires kept dropping down from behind the panel under the dash and whenever I needed to take out the center console, had to cut wires. Using these snap connectors I managed to route the wiring out of the way so it no longer hands down inside the foot well. Plus, when the console needs to come out, it is a simple matter of flipping the connector lever to release wires then popping them back in when reassembling. Now the installation is cleaner and maintenance is quicker. An added bonus is that the electrical connections are more secure and solenoids get more current and work much better than when using crimp connectors.

Good to have around. Makes splicing and unsplicing easy.

Good product. Works so much better than twist connectors. Drawback is the wire can come out if the initial contact is not complete and switch is not locked down.

These are game changers. I used them for installing new lighting fixtures. It makes wiring so much easier and it works!

Love these connectors. They hold very good and quick to release.

They don't reliably hold the wire. I wanted to like them. I just can't recommend them. They are a serious safety hazard.
