Surprisingly, still functioning normally after 3 years
Update: April 2016 -- This keyboard still works very well, despite that in the last year I've probably used it over 12 hours a day on most days, having taken on more work. The keys aren't sticking, and still have good pushback; they don't fall easily and trip you into typos. The only issue with the backlighting is that the blue has become dimmer, which seems to occur with every kind of blue LED. The purple and red are still very bright, and even the blue is sufficient to do its job.The letters have worn off of the high-use keys, as is common, but as a touch typist that's rarely an issue. Only a bit of wear on the spacebar, interestingly, and that's just a small line on the edge.Frankly, I cannot believe I've been using this keyboard for 3 years. This has wound up being one of the best-performing and most durable (at least under lengthy but normal use) keyboards I've ever owned.Previous Update: June 2015 -- I see there is a new model of this keyboard out, but this version is still for sale, and I'm fighting some insomnia, so ...Just shy of 16 months after purchase, with usage being 8-10 hours a day for 6-7 days of each week of intense project work. (Hence the insomnia.) The keys retain essentially all of their firmness and push-back, and don't give way while my fingertips are pressing against them in resting position. The keys do have a slight bit of flex under the finger, but they've had that since the start, and I've come to appreciate the effect - which is a slight accommodation of the way each finger applies force to each. Whether intentional or not, it makes the keyboard very accommodating, and improves my accuracy. I don't find my fingers snapping off of the edge of these keys, and I've been blissfully free so far of those little areas on my fingertips that some keyboards can abrade over time with repeated keystrokes.None of the keys have become squishy, or wiggly. The backlighting hasn't lost brightness, and all colors and lighting modes continue to work just fine. Unexpectedly, an interestingly to me, I've found that the pulse lighting mode seems to help somehow when I have particularly grinding work to do, as though perhaps it slightly improves my focus. It's a bit like a pleasant, glowing metronome of light. The only difference I can discern between now and 16 months ago is the usual wear and tear that occurs on all but the very costly stamped keyboards: some of the key markers (have worn off partially or entirely), namely the C, V, right shift and left ctrl keys. Not a big thing for me, as those are gone within a year on pretty well any keyboard I buy.--------------------------------------Original review:With one cosmetic caveat I'll describe at the end, this is actually quite a nice keyboard: - I'm having no issue with key presses failing to register, and the keys have a sure tactile feel to them; - It's easy to discern the point at which the key gives way to the finger press, and the keys maintain contact against the fingertip at all times; - Keys are firm enough to prevent inadvertent key presses when resting the fingers, but not nearly so firm as to make typing an effort; - Key spacing is good, with gaps and key shapes helping prevent wandering, when a finger does lightly slip from one key to the next, the shape of the key usually results in the fingertip striking the side of the neighboring key rather than landing on its top and pushing it down; - The marker bumps on the 'f' key and the '5' key on the keypad are small, but effective; my preference would be for slightly larger, or to have two or three of the existing bumps arrayed around each key, but some keyboards have ridiculously oversized markers that get in the way;Coming from a somewhat larger keyboard, I have needed only slight adjustment to the position of the backslash key, but I've not found the shorter enter key to be an issue. Someone without the same range of little finger extension might have an issue with it, but mine rests square on the key at all times. - The keys all light well, and every key on the board is lit; I've had some backlit keyboards that leave everything but the alphanumeric keys unlit; - In a dark room, the low brightness setting is sufficient to assist key-finding, while the high level is effective even in a lit room; I still find myself sometimes thinking, "Wow, that is bright." - The lighted windows along the left, right and back side of the keyboard are a nice (and at times surprisingly useful) touch; My only quibble with the keyboard as designed is that the symbols on the top row of number keys are the same size as the numbers, which took some getting used to. It's far from a deal breaker, but even arraying the number and symbol diagonally to one another rather than side-by-side would probably improve on-the-fly legibility. If you're someone knee-deep in spreadsheets every day, anything that causes pause or potential error in entering strings of numbers is a concern. But, again, this is becoming less of an issue with a few weeks of use. Now, for the caveat: The numlock, capslock and scroll lock lights above the keypad light in blue, regardless of the color to which the keyboard is set. While this is not a major issue, I did take very small pieces of Gorilla tape and black those lights out. The numlock key is the only one that really matters given that it's on for most people constantly. The issue, however, is that these lights are bright, and on my unit they bleed over into the bank of keys to the left and below. This is especially problematic because the numlock light, the one that's always on, is the main culprit, however all of them do it to some degree. In the blue and purple modes, this really isn't noticeable, however in the red light mode - particularly low red, which is the mode I use most due to visual issues induced by damage to my optic nerves and retinas - the blue light can be seen bleeding all the way over to the scroll lock and insert keys, and down beneath the first row of keys at the top of the key pad. This is just a cosmetic issue, but it is an annoying one. I have not read all of the reviews, but I haven't seen this mentioned before, and I assume this is a defect with mine.Still, I would have no trouble recommending this keyboard given its performance, look and feel at this price point.

A Compact, Backlit Keyboard that works well
Short form: It's a rather tight but decent keyboard that you can plug in and use anywhere, no additional drivers needed. If you are looking for an affordable backlit keyboard that doesn't require anything fancy or just have a tight space where your keyboard sits, this is definitly what you want.I've been running this keyboard since my purchase approximately 2 months ago and I am rather impressed with it so far. I was coming from the Razer Lycosa Programmable Backlit Gaming Keyboard and had some reservations about switching to a brand that I had never heard of before. While I can't say that I'm absolutely blown away, it has held up to my nightly gaming rituals and authoring as well as my wife's online schoolwork. The first thing I noticed is that the keyboard itself is very lightweight. I was surprised at just how slim it felt! The cable is approximately four to six feet long, matching the average length for a wired keyboard. Installation is quick and painless -- there are no drivers to install beyond what Windows already has available. Key throws are consistant between the various keys and are reasonably quick and responsive. While I haven't tested for anti-ghosting, I haven't run into any specific ghosting issues as of yet, and I have had a total of one (1) time in the two months that I've had it where a key "stuck." It was quickly remedied by simply pressing the key again. The keyboard is definitely small and it generally lacks any kind of palm support. If you have larger hands or are coming from a larger keyboard, like I have on both accounts, you will find yourself regularly striking the Function keys as they are very close to the top row number keys. It's a minor adjustment, but if you use Backspace while using the web be prepared to strike the F11 key and send your browser into theater mode more than once. The keys also seem slightly smaller than the average keyboard, not small enough to make it impossible, just slightly tighter. There are also no programmable macro keys, which can be both a good and bad thing, depending on preference. It does come with a key extractor and several clear keys, so you can modify the keyboard slightly to your preferences. This keyboard does have media controls, the standard volume up, down, skip track, previous track, and play/pause, as well as having the LED controls and Windows Key lock all "Function"-based. They all work, though sometimes the media and volume controls have a noticeable delay before their commands are carried out. The LED controls work very well and the colors are strong, even in low intensity. The colors display as Red, Blue, and "Pink," though I tend to find that the pink is more of a purplish color, especially on low, and the brightness options are Off, Low, High, and Pulse, which creates a rather interesting Off-to-High-to-Off rotation. If you sufer from, "Ooh! Shiny!," like I do then the pulse becomes too much of a distraction, but that is personal preference. Also, this keyboard IS USABLE with the backlight disabled, the keys can still be read without the backlight!I will admit that the keys themselves do feel a bit flimsy. That's really the only serious "Con" I can come up with.

but I'm happy with it
La calidad en general no es muy alta pero para el precio está mucho más que aceptable!ENGLISHI've been using it for a few weeks so I can't comment on the durability yet, but I'm happy with it. The keys are comfortable and good quality. I use it for gaming and it does the job pretty well. It's not mechanical but quite close in the feel of it. The backlight is sick. The quality is general is not amazing but for this price is more than acceptable.

Good product...after initially getting a dud. Excellent customer service!
Took a month to receive it. Looks fine and LED lighting is quite good. The flip down feet are very flimsy and would not last long, if you use them. All keys on the left side of the keyboard DON'T WORK! (Q,A,Z,X,S,W,Tab,Caps and Ctrl all don't work). The keyboard is therefore useless. Contacted seller (Hong Kong) and received the following statement in their very pleasant email....Dear honored customer,We’re grateful to receive your mail. As for any inconvenience to you, we’re so sorry about it.Don’t worry about it, we will try our best to deal with it.Would you please give us more description or take some pictures about it to send for us?Sent them a picture of the keyboard today but have no idea what good that will do, it looks fine but keys don't work.We will see what 'Don’t worry about it, we will try our best to deal with it.' means?Well (three weeks have passed), received the replacement keyboard as promised (very courteous customer service!) and this one seems to work fine. The lighting is terrific, you change the color by holding down the Fn key and then using the 5 key on the number pad. Although the first one was a dud I am pleased with the product quality and finish. Keys do not 'click' which is great and have a soft feel when depressed. My system is in a dim room so the back-lit keyboard is perfect. For the money I would recommend this product.

If any problems show up, i'll update this comment. So to change color press FN key and the 5 on the num pad, its nice when the colors change from light to bright and dark. And the colors are nice and they pop.

Very nice keyboard, not the exact same as a super ...
Very nice keyboard, not the exact same as a super expensive razor keyboard or something but it is still very nice in it's own way. 3 years old as of writing this review and its still the keyboard I use.

Love it!
I have had this keyboard for a while now and LOVE IT! I have had no problems what so ever. Use mostly red and purple colors as the blue is a bit hard on the eyes.
