Bulk Supplements delivers again. I've been supplementing glutamine off-and-on for a few years now. While it's synthesized naturally by the body, it is the most abundant amino acid in the body (constituting ~80% of free amino acids in the blood stream). It is utilized by multiple systems, including the immune system. As it is synthesized by our bodies, it is not considered essentially; however, glutamine may be considered an essential amino acid in people performed vigorous activities or intense exercise as the body may not be able to synthesize enough of it, or at a fast enough rate, to support both muscle recovery and the immune system. This is why you may become transiently immunosuppressed after intense exercise. While this suppression is short-lived, I decided not to take any chances in light of last year's nasty flu season (I work in an emergency department.). I absolutely loath being sick and turn into a huge baby, incessantly annoying my wife with my whining.I've been hitting the irons and attending the gym religiously since about June, 2016. I added this supplement as I had heard of presumed benefits to the immune system. While this is obviously subjective, I can attest that, though I typically have clogged, runny sinuses from about September through March each year, I have yet to get even the slightest sniffle since starting this supplement from Bulk Supplements. My entire household has come down with runny noses and the children have intermittent sinus infections (the toddler has a constant craving for floor-spice). Guess who hasn't? This guy. Consequently, I'm also the only one supplementing glutamine. Coincidence? Maybe. But, I've never felt more healthy and ready to attack the day. My recovery in the gym seems nearly instantaneous with this supplement, coupled with a smart diet and plenty of sleep. It is worthy of note that the common benefits of glutamine supplementation are evident for those less-active individuals.I do my best to maintain optimal health. This supplement makes that job much easier through the many benefits I've experienced while using it. It is economically priced. As someone who has experience in biochemistry and organic chemistry, I can attest to this product's quality on a level that most people cannot. It is a fine, white powder that is without any particular flavor and maintains itself in suspension in any drink with ease. I will continue to order this supplement from Bulk Supplements so long as it is available at this (steal of a) price.

I have used other BulkSupplements products and they are wonderful so I expected nothing less from them. However when I did receive this particular product I had a issue with it. The issue was I received a bad batch and the product had a Ammonia aroma to it. I emailed both Amazon and BulkSupplements on this matter. Amazon accepted the return of this product and apologized about this matter. While BulkSupplements also apologized about the matter & informed me that I would be better of placing future orders directly through them to help reduce any issues with their products. They were also nice enough to allow me to review one of their other products free of charge for another honest product review. I did some research and found the reason for this product going bad was due to being exposed to excessive heat weather in the production or the transportation of it.In conclusion BulkSupplements strive to make a quality product and have a solid relationship with its customers I will continue to order from them in the future. I will also be posting my honest/ un-biased reviews about other products that I have tried weather I paid for them for receive them. So about this product it works great its not some miracle product that will transform you over night but it does seem to help with soreness the following day. I'm a 25 year bodybuilder/ powerlifter I don't compete I just do it because I love to stay healthy and active. I do take a slightly higher then the recommended dose due to my size and my body needing more. I would have gave this product a 5 star but due to the issue I had the first time I received it.
