It worked great. I got it for the lamp that I really love and I didn't want to get a new lamp, this was an easy, cheap fix.

Replaced an old socket just like this where the plastic near the screw on the bottom broke due to age. This works as advertised and my light is back to lighting! Easy as pie to replace as well. Just look up a few Youtube videos and you'll be golden.

I like this shade style better. It allows you to use any lightbulb you want, including not LED ones so you can get health benefits. It's very simple, straight forward. You will probably need a continuity tester to get proper polarity with the plug on your lamp. (small blade is hot, goes to brass screw, big blade is neutral and goes to nickle screw)

It was the prefect fit replacement for the socket that broke. Wife has a standing floor lamp in her classroom. The plastic piece on the socket broke, and the replacement piece worked prefect.
