Shocked At the Value
I was so desperate to find an AFO. I’ve had problems medically with them. This one will hold out for at least a while. Well made and comfortable. I’m going to use a mole patch near the bunyon part of my foot and at the halfway point under my foot for added security to comfort where there’s pressure in these areas for the brace to work properly. I’m walking and breathing better again.

It works with shoes that have velcro straps
I'm so pleased with my new brace. I reviewed several but they all say works for laced shoes. Because of my special needs I wear shoes with velcro straps and this works great! It keeps my foot at a 90 degree angle and for the first time I have a "normal" gait when I walk. I can't wait to walk into my doctors office after 2 surgeries and years of treatment to show her what worked for me. I wish I knew about this years ago. I plan on ordering another so I don't have to worry about going without. I also have thick ankles but it fits like a dream. The design supports my ankle and I feel sure footed when I walk. Thank you.

Glad to have it
This really helps my husband a lot. The only thing that we wish is that the top part of it, that fits between the top of the shoe and your sock if there was some way to make that a little bit softer. My husband comes away with huge indentations on his foot, but this has saved him from a lot of accidents being able to have this foot support.

Nice for the price.
Easy to use. We have bought several since we discovered these. My husband likes to replace it every 6 months or so as the Velcro does wear a bit like all Velcro does. He wears it almost everyday.

Works IF you can get it on correctly
I have multiple Sclerosis as does my 2 sisters. All three of us use braces for our foot drops. So we have tried a bunch! This brace is great ONCE IT IS ON. I felt like I had to put it on. get my shoe on then do the buckle.. THEN tie my shoes to get it to function properly. Which is hard to tighten all the laces and tie the shoe with the strap getting in your way. So if you have hand coordination issues, this is not the brace for you. not funtional for someone who puts their foot on their other knee to deal with their brace. It does maintain the correct pull on my foot and the velcro doesnt come undone. The price is fare and so far I havent had issues with the quality on any of it. I didnt return it because it is the only brace that seems to give ankle support and foot drop assistance. But if foot drop is your only issue, I would try other braces.

Not good with sketchers hands free step in shoes
I had a stroke my left side affected have foot drop on left side left hand still being a jerk sometimes I bought a few aafo’s this wass one of them I took all of them to show my physical therapist and we both agreed that this one would not work well due to to size of clip and the way laces are on sketchers shoes this one won’t work I’m keeping the one that has Diel an clip that attaches to front shoe lace we tried that one and it worked great and easier to put on so Im returning this one it loooks nice but it won’t work for me I wouldn’t be able to feed the clip under lashes and then. Connectivity left hand doesn’t work great with fine motor skills yet still working on. In therapy

Can walk again
First let me say in my possession less than 24 hrs. Next a little challenging to put on, but impossible like so others. Now the really good part was comfortable, held foot at 90*, made walking so much easier, didn’t have to change shoe size, almost invisible with pant leg down in standing position. I am so pleased I ordered a second one for the other foot. I have rods from my pelvic to between my shoulder blades (part of why challenging to put on) and have chemo dead nerves in lower extremities, so for me this is a game changer maybe less time in wheelchair. I will update on results in next unit after have had time to use together, hope I am as happy then. Price is right and extra straps to use with Sandals I have never worn them but for those who do accommodation is there. I don’t know how long they will last but even if I get a month I’ll be happy, such a relief to be able to not have foot flop.19 days later and lots of use as well have 2nd brace for other foot, they are still hard to put on but it is taking less time, one of the things I have done to improve the time it takes is I put a D ring on the bottom of the tennis shoe lacing, on my shoes there is a small loop the lace goes through I the center at the very bottom, this makes putting the lift strap installable after the laces are tied ( before the strap had to go under the two bottom laces when they are lose). The other is just practice. The company should make left and right as getting these wrapped and one connected on the outside of your leg is challenging, quick one wrap on each strap would also help. All of that said it is a huge gift to be able to walk again with a pair of my original shoes no size change. I am able to get around without my cane, not for very long walks but down a few isles in a store. Worth a try!

Not for me
Did not work for me but it probably was not due to the product. It was recommended by PT so I imagine it works for others. It only works with some shoes. Please take note of that before purchasing.
