After scouring multiple garden centres around my area (50mile ish radius), I was surprised at how expensive these have become. Anywhere from £700 to £1000 and in most cases you need to add a base to that as well which can also be upwards of £100. I prefer to actually see before I buy in most cases but I know a friend who highly recommended the brand even though he had a different product. I ordered it and was not disappointed. Yes I had to buy a base as well but all told my purchase was under £600 all in. The constructon of this is outstanding. Better than or at least equal to more expensive parasols in the said garden centres and mine included built in lighting as well. I bought the 100kg base, have only filled it water and its perfectly stable. None of those 4 x rediculously heavy concrete petal weights for me. Once the base is filled with water, its a 2 person parasol lift onto the base and the shroud does a nice job of tidying up the appearence. It rotates via a removable winding handle and the parasol opens via the same method. Dead easy to operate. Also, the tilt function is also easy via a trigger release. Just squeeze the trigger and just slide the handle up and down the shaft to where you want it. Release the trigger to relock it into the locating holes and its secure. Well thought out design. You get 2 handles, a cover (sadly basic and beige, our parasol is grey, and our furniture is also grey, but it does the job and a long collapsable rod to put it on and off ... yes you need it because its abut 10feet tall. For the winter I will buy a heavier duty cover as I have nowhere to store it during winter mths so after wd40ing the mechanisms for proctection, outside it will live. This is truly a great parasol, well made, heavy duty all aluminium framework (no rust) and really looks the business. Time will tell how long it will last but Im sure I can get a good few years out of this one. Highly recommended.

When this arrived sadly a bit late due to the courier it was in a massive 9’ long box. We waited a week for the base that was also ordered at the same time.When we had it all we filled the base with water that was so easy to build my 2year old son did it.We then opened up the parasol box and this two could not have been more easy to assemble. I supervised my children age 2 and 5 and only had to assist with the weight of it.It’s a beautiful piece and made so well.

Just received my parasol and is fully assembled, all good product is great quality , emailed purple leaf on a few times with a few enquiry’s and they got back to me straight away and was very helpful,

A strong and sturdy brolly that works as advertised. I used it with the purple leaf plastic base filled with water and it stands well in light breezes.

Umbrella took week longer to come I had to do all the chasing!! Now parts missing!!Purple leaf have been great getting back to me and I love the Parasol!Shame about the delivery and Amazon not sorting more efficiently as I ordered from them!Definitely recommend the parasol and the base sold does fit the 3mx3m Parasol although once again I had to check with Purple Leaf as Amazon don’t actually say in description that it fits with purple leaf parasol!

Very pleased with this purchase. The parasol is of sound quality not just the framework but the material used as the parasol. The LED lights are very effective not being too bright but giving a warm low light when the sun has gone. Very pleased how it looks and the versatility re different positions it can be set at

This parasol is great. Fairly easy to put together, although as others have mentioned, the instructions could be a little clearer.My 1 star review is aimed at Amazon’s awful delivery service. Originally ordered on June 26 with a scheduled delivery of June 29. I was then informed that there was delay & the delivery was moved to 1 July. It never showed up. Several chat conversations and phone calls to Amazon customer service later, I was promised delivery on a further 3 occasions and it still never showed up. Despite Amazon seeming to know everything about my orders, strangely enough, they couldn’t locate where my order was.Eventually, I was offered a refund and told that if it did show up, I could keep it.A second one was ordered on July 3 with a scheduled delivery of July 6. Guess what, it didn’t show up again. The delivery was then rescheduled by Amazon to July 12.When it eventually turned up, 2 weeks later, I got 2 of them. The original and the second one.Despite Amazon customer services advising I could keep the original, a few days ago, I received an email from Amazon demanding I return it. They excepted me to follow a process of printing a label and taking it to the post office. This is impossible as it’s too large. I then had spend another 20 minutes on the phone to Amazon explaining why it couldn’t be taken to the post office. Eventually Amazon did arrange for a scheduled collection. We’ll see if they actually turn up.

Bear in mind this is just the umbrella and you will almost certainly need to order a base which needs to be factored into the cost.The base is not cheap!

I got this umbrella on a sale so it was pretty inexpensive compared to other ones. I have the 10‘ x 10‘ modelI have to say I’m pretty impressed. It assembled easily and seems to be constructed in a sturdy fashion and seems like it will stand up well and last. Hope to get at least a couple seasons out of it.It’s attractive and I got the black colored one and it looks good.If you fill the standard base with water it weighs 240 pounds, so it’s not easy to move but still movable. So far that is enough weight to keep the umbrella steady even in a moderate wind. I’m happy with that as it’s such a large surface area I was afraid it would immediately blow over but it’s pretty good.You can fill the base with a mixture of sand and water which takes the weight up to 400 pounds and I don’t believe the umbrella would move at all with that much weight but would probably get damaged before it would tip over.I wish the tilt mechanism allowed you to tilt it in both axis’s rather than just up and down but it is what it is.All in all I’m really happy and it casts a large amount of shade over my patio table and surrounding area.

We are absolutely in love with our new parasol. We loved the option of lights directly in the construction of the umbrella. They are totally great in the evening providing us great atmosphere for our terrace. The umbrella looks gorgeous. It is looks great and it is very stable as well. The installation was quite easy as well for us. I would also love to point the communication with the seller - I was not sure about the stand for it and also needed the package dimensions to be ably to get this umbrella to my home country as Amazon was not shipping directly to my destination. They answered all my questions quickly and with so detailed information that made it all so easy to organise from my end. I believe apart of the great product they really have a team who is ready to go an extra mile to ensure a customer will be happy. Definite recommendations from us.

Dieser Sonnenschirm ist von sehr guter Qualität und auch optisch sehr ansprechend und schön. Er ist etwas teurer, aber seinen Preis wert. Er schützt perfekt vor der Sonne und kann bequem gedreht werden wie gebraucht.
