Weed Killer, Biodegradable, Non-Toxic Ready to Use, 24 oz Spray

Great product. Lived up to expectations. I used it on dandelions in my lawn and I thought that by being very careful by using the stream function on the sprayer (which is very accurate), I would be able to kill the dandelions and not my lawn. I did realize that this was non-selective, so that was my choice. Well the product did indeed kill the dandelions and very quickly, in a few hours, but it did kill a little bit of the grass despite my care in applying. Long story short....great to kill unwanted weeds, but not for the lawn as per the instructions. The fact that it is organic, non-toxic and smells awesome is superb. Highly recommended.

No weeds were harmed by the use of this product. Save your money and buy a real product.

I choose to not use traditional weed killers, and have been searching for a product to use on rock and gravel beds when hand pulling isn't an option. I am very please with the performance of this product especially on annual grasses. It may not knock down large weeds, but that's not a problem for me. Since I wouldn't ever let things go that far. This is not cheap but worth every penny. I purchased this smaller amount to try out. Going back to order a larger size which will be more economical. I LOVE THAT ITS AN ORGANIC OPTION!

This is a very good weed killer that is effective and works fast. It also smells really good! It does have to be used on a sunny day which has proved tricky this wet spring we have had. It has killed all the weeds I have tried it on except the poison ivy - had no effect on that so I have just had to put my back into it and pull that up. Will be ordering more.

I have purchased 4 bottles of this Avenger Organics Weed Killer. I have been satisfied with the results. Weeds and grass are removed. But with the last 2 bottles that I purchased, the sprayers broke down shortly after I starting using them. What good is a product if it doesn't come out of the sprayer? It was strange because I did not have a problem with the previous 2 purchases. All I can figure is that whomever made the sprayers on my second purchase did a terrible job.

It worked OK, but not great. Within 1 day, the leaves turned brown on my poison oak plants. But the plants themselves are still alive. As the weeks have gone on, the leaves are regenerating. I have read before that a 2nd treatment should handle it. For the price, I would expect better performance.

Don't be stupid like me and start using this without gloves on. Just because it's organic, and biodegradeable, and "safe" doesn't mean it's healthy to apply directly to your skin while wet. The sprayer will probably leak a little (mine did while spraying) and you don't want this stuff directly on your hands.It works WAY FASTER than RoundUp. I literally sprayed, went inside for 5 minutes, and came out to find the leaves already withering and browning. This stuff is it. I'm thrilled! It has a strong smell that goes away when dry. Once dry, it's totally safe for the kids and pets to play around. I wouldn't buy RoundUp again - even if it was safe.

How this product can be qualified as non-toxic I can't understand. The instruction label starts with "HAZARDS TO HUMANS AND DOMESTIC ANIMALS" and goes on to discuss first aid: "If on skin and clothing - remove contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice." This is directly off the bottle. It then goes on to describe similar treatment if in eyes. The next warning is "ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS" and reads: "Do not apply directly to water, or to areas where surface water is present or intertidal areas below the man high water mark. Do not contaminate water when disposing of equipment washwater or rinsate." This product may well work killing weeds but I'll never know as it's my intent to take to the hazardous waste depot post-haste. (Note this product is not eligible for return due to some disclaimer about special packaging considerations.) I have been using vinegar to spot kill weeds and will continue to do so. This product might work better but at least if vinegar touches my skin I don't have to shower for 20 minutes and call the poison control center.
