Sound output is blasting sound . True party speaker . Rugged and very strong . I found battery life is reasonably alright . In 2 hours running at stretch the battery consumption level goes down from 100 to 75% level . So I feel 4 to 5 or 6 hours it should work in battery . Disco lights are fantastic . Very easy to operate this speaker with JBL app in your phone . Though company offering option of only cord Mike to connect but I tried cordless Mike , it works well but space to fit the cordless Mike connector device is very less and only can jack in at one position . But then it works as usual very well . Corded Mike will not have any constraint . Look and smart appearance goes very well in home party setting and small group outing . Easy to carry and can be kept in car to listen blasting music on travel of long drive . Good value product I should say . I have opted extended warranty of 2 nd year at additional charge of Rs 999/- and feel this spend will help secure me at least Upto 2 years no hassle in case of any technical issue .

If your budget is anything around ₹20k (and you're a true music buff) do not look further into finding anything better, because this one's certainly the best (in this price range.)The build quality is just premium. The plastic used in the making is of the most robust quality. Buttons are thick and the ports in the back are neat!Everything about music with this purchase we've made makes me wanna dance. The beats are flawless! The sound production is chef's kiss! I'm starting to believe with JBL you just cannot go wrong.I also own a JBL Go 3 (pocket speaker; previously I've also used JBL Go 1) and I can tell you, if sound quality is your highest priority you shouldn't look any further. As for any random speaker can play music, but if what you're looking for is true sound notes, the crispness and detail in music, a clear case of dialogue and foley, JBL is the way to go.As for battery life, it's decent, not the best. I usually use the speaker at 90% volume, so the backup that I receive is about 6 hours. You might get significantly better if you keep the range between 60%-70%. As for time, it takes about 3 hours to charge 100%.Tip- I personally won't recommend anyone to charge your speaker – while in use as it might dampen battery performance over time.

So my 3rd purchase from JBlL after Charge 4 and Eon one compact.I have always been a fan of the signature JBL sound with balanced mid and high with deep low end.The speaker provides a Rich low volume experience and wholesome listening pleasure at loud levels.Party box essential encore is a mini powe house that can be carried everywhere since it’s ultra portable and will also help you charge phones and tablets with its massive battery. Water splash proofing and rugged quality make its a go to speaker at pool parties and the low end that it provides especially is enough to get your head moving. I am an avid listener of electronic music, house melodic techno and also Punjabi. Suits all form of areas.

It fills my 12x14 room with sound, and its bass is truly felt thanks to its 5.25-inch woofer and 100-watt amplifier. It offers two bass modes – deep and punchy, with the deep bass mode being particularly impressive. The Encore has a single forward-firing woofer and dual forward-firing tweeters, but the crucial feature is the rear-firing exhaust port, enhancing the bass when placed against a wall.While there isn't a noticeable stereo separation, the sound isn't boxy. It maintains a balanced sound with strong mids, and the bass is delivered effectively. Whether used at high or low volumes, the bass maintains a decent amount of physicality, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The Partybox app allows you to tweak the equalizer according to your taste, ensuring an enjoyable experience with various music genres.A party speaker is incomplete without disco lights, and the bright party ring light & strobe light on this speaker sync well with the beats. It also features a microphone input, making it a good option for karaoke. While the speaker is already quite loud, using it in power mode increases the loudness by up to 25%.Now, if we talk about its cons, in my opinion, there's only one – its battery. A 5000mAh battery isn't sufficient for a 100W speaker. At 50% volume without any light show and bass boost off, it lasts about 5 hours, and at full volume, it lasts 2 hours. Moreover, its charging time is quite long, approximately 3+ hours.In conclusion, the JBL Partybox Encore Essential is a well-rounded speaker that doesn't excel at one specific thing but performs admirably in various aspects. It's small, super portable, and packs a big punch.
