A Great Handheld for those who like it old!
Came early, and in great condition too! The only noticeable wear I've seen was on the sticks. Definitely worth the price!

Absolutely love it
I was a bit delayed with this review, but I wanted to make sure to test the functions of the Vita fully before I did, just in case. When the Vita arrived, it was BEAUTIFUL. For being listed as 'Very good' it should have been listed as 'Like new'. Other than some finger smudging on the front, and a tiny bit of dirt along the edges of the back hand resting areas, it was practically a new Vita. And so began the battery testing. When first charging the unit, I had to give it a VERY long time, but once it recovered from being bone dry, it's been delightful in running smoothly, charging quickly, and having no issues. From there, both ports (Vita cart and Memory cart) are in fine condition, and everything checks out. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Great vita! Amazing Quality!
Fantastic! I am soooooooooooo in love with the vita! For anyone looking for reviews on whether or not to buy this, I suggest it highly! ONLY if you are okay with actually using the X button as Back as O the enter, BUT only in the menu, if you have regular games from the USA, they will function normally. The colors on the vita themselves are fantastic, the color of the screen and lighting is great. I think the other reviewers didn't realize, that the brightness settings are very easily adjustable. My fiancé (who is the accountholder, I just do reviews for items that are meant for me.) Has a regular ps vita 2000, borderlands version, he bought this a few months back, they look and act exactly the same. (minus that his is a black one with a black back, and mine is a white one with a lime green back) I thought it was slightly smaller at first, but I realized that it was because he had a case on his, then it was the color difference. If you like having a unique vita over your friends, TOTALLY buy this vita!!!!! The person I bought from was REALLY quick with shipping and the fact that it was in stock and they wasted no time!

Better in every way!
Beautiful hardware. The system is fantastic and an upgrade over my white OLED 1000 - in every way.The screen is sharper and I can actually notice details in games, that were not able to be seen on the OLED models' screen. The system is lighter, but still has a weighty premium Sony feel. I really like the ergonomics of the larger handholds and rescued touchpad. The buttons are a lot more solid in feel (clicky), than the 1000 model, especially the much improved shoulder buttons.PSP games do look a lot better now in color and clarity; I can also play PS1 games without the fear of borders burning in image retention (1000 model can suffer burn in).The speakers have received and improvement and so have the resized and raised PS, Start and Select buttons. This is a Japanese system so X/O are swapped in function (confirm/cancel), this only affects the Operating System and is a non issue.Very thrilled with the new 2000.The seller packaged the item immaculately and shipping was fast and expedient.

PS Vita did not come in refurbished condition
PS Vita was good and worked fine. Right stick doesn’t work and isn’t properly connected to the system. Had to fix by myself which contradicts the promise of a fully functional system.

Good condition
Started right up with no issues and had minimal scratches. Touch screen is good and even came with an OEM charger.

Moving from original Vita, I'm happy
Had to replace my launch-day original Vita when the battery started failing (don't get me started on non-replaceable batteries), and decided to get what I want whether it's an official North American release or not. I love the white and lime color combo, so decided to order it. It was my first slim Vita, and it feels a little "cheap" to me in comparison to my original launch-day Vita with cellular, but overall, it's a worthy replacement.I was concerned at first that I wouldn't like the cheaper screen on the slim Vita, after having grown accustomed to the original OLED screen, but that hasn't proved to be the case. I admit that I have mostly played PSP games on this one (Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky I and II) but even in other games, I hardly notice a difference. I can't complain about the lower quality display. The plastic casing does feel, as I said, a bit cheaper and lighter than the original Vita, but I can live with that. I'm very happy that the charging cable was replaced with a standard USB cable, and I no longer have to keep an additional cable at my charging station just for my Vita. Overall, I think it feels a bit better in my hands, though if you like the original, you may miss some of the heftiness and bulk when moving to this one.As others have said, there's no problem using this in North America with a North American PSN account. The setup is easy (starts in Japanese, can be quickly changed to English), and otherwise is just the same as the official NA Vita. I know that the warranty is invalid simply by buying it outside Japan, but that wasn't a biggie for me. But, as long as you're aware of that, get what you want. Show Sony that we want more color options in the US!

Remote play. Best. Thing. Ever.
Having had a PSVita in the past, this is just the same. The only noticeable differences are that the 'O' is the confirm button in the menu instead of 'X'. But if you use the touch display, it doesn't matter. Also, there is a website that is all in Japanese that cannot be removed from the Web browser's bookmarks. But who uses the Web browser on a gaming console? The setup in the beginning asks for your language and time Zone. So it is not hard to successfully use English in a Japanese import. As far as the exterior, the green is very vibrant. The white is beautiful. And it's definitely work the extra $40 compared to a US retail system at a regular $199. The special edition of it is worth it alone.I'd also like to touch a bit on the primary reason why I purchased this... REMOTE PLAY IS LEGENDARY .
