Q: Can i connect a garden hose to another garden hose through this unit or do i need an adapter? is it just a ght gender-reversing adapter?

I have this valve connected to a garden faucet using this adapter: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B007D5KFOG/ That converts this valve's NPTF threads to GHT. From the other end of this valve, I connect back to some drip system components using this adapter: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00489Y9MO/

Q: Just installed a new valve and it works but buzzes pretty loud when its working. Is that normal?

The list two replacements buzzed noticeably more than earlier models of this same valve. Mine are now two seasons old and continue to function well, albeit still buzzing.
