I am very happy with the performance of scissors. Tjhey work great for clipping loose threads in sewing and machine embroidery. Very good value.

These are surgical and I love them. They are very thin and get down to the root of what you are trying to cut! I fell in love with these years ago and I am so glad I found them. I use them for personal hygiene.

The precision small blades make it easy to trim hackle, bodies and other materials on flies. I’m also using them on a very delicate Mimosa Pudica delicate plant and they are ideal

Very nice, unsure if they will be useful for my purposes (I'm a plant scientist and need them for something involving plant tissue culture, so we'll see how that fares) but I think they'll work fine.Two things bother me however.1. The protective cover for the tips is useless. Because it's too soft, the scissor tips just rip it apart. They all came broken like this. I know better tip covers can be made.2. One of the tips was bent - not sure how this happened, but it may have been from the fact that the the covers don't do anything, so when it was handled, one of the tips just got knocked.It seems like closing and opening them caused it to straighten out, so it's useable, but the blade it still sort of bent. We'll see if it works come time.

I use these to snip threads when piecing quilt blocks. They are perfect, but I regret not purchasing the curved ones.

I had bought a pair of this type of scissor for sewing a number of years ago. But i broke that pair. Since i really liked that old pair, i went in search of a new pair. Well the sewing sites had them for $30 for one pair. I was astounded as i know i had not paid that much for my old pair.i found this set of 3 on amazon for $30 so i ordered them. they are just as good as my old pair at a good price.highly recommend for any sewist or crafter needing a small pair of scissors for close and/or small tasks.
