I’ve used a lot of trekking poles, probably more than anyone — and these rubber tips? Pathetic. They fall off constantly — you take three steps, boom, they’re gone. You spend more time searching and picking them up than actually walking. Really sad. Very annoying, very bad design. And the smell is unbearable. I don’t know what they put in this rubber, but it’s terrible. People are complaining, and rightly so. You could smell it from a mile away (I’m not saying you would, but you probably could). Total disgrace. You know, they actually said during the campaign, they had a hat, the best selling hat “I was right about everything” and I don’t say that in a braggadocious way but it’s true. I’ve been right about everything. And I’m telling you that if you don’t get away from these pole tips scam, your hiking is going to fail. If you want durability, stability, and a tip that actually works — stay away from these. One star and they deserve it.
