For superhero fans, fighting game fans, and everyone in between
A suprising amount of depth is contained in this arcade fighter. As someone who doesn't typically play many fighting games, this was still a must buy for me. The combat is quick and enjoyable, with an emphasis on 'powers' that allows even novices or children to enjoy the game while there is still a tremendous amount of strategy that can be learned and fighters to be mastered. The story mode is more of a 2 hour movie with moments of 'choose your own adventure' added in to keep things fresh. A purchase can be justified for just the story mode and even an amateur can enjoy it on the easiest difficulty. But the real depth of the game comes online, where you can compete in ever-changing challenges that reward you with equipment you can then dress your fighters with. There are RPG elements at play that add an unexpected level of depth to the game.Super hero (DC) fans, fighting game fans, and even casual gamers will all find more than expected to enjoy here.I typically regret purchasing fighting games, but this one I don't regret for a second.Pros:RPG ElementsCustomization of fightersDepth of battleVariety of combatantsDC Comics LicenseStory mode is worthy of a standalone filmOnline combat runs smoothlyCooperative play as guilds (inventive)Multiverse challengesEasy to learn, hard to masterGreat fun with friends or enemiesCouch and online playCons:Some bosses in the Multiverse are unfairly difficultImbalance with some characters feeling very weakDLC being released at a slow trickleExtra (special) costumes locked behind paywall or insane grindThe grind to 20 for each character

A great combination of Super Heroes combine with great gameplay
I've to say, fighting games have come a long way. They aren't just about remake of the old with just better graphics. I'm a fan of fighting games, but many of them tend to be boring and repetitive. My last favorite fighting game was Mortal Kombat and I'm glad to see many elements of it in Injustice 2. I think a good fighting game should be more than just pushing buttons furiously, it should have a strategic element. Injustice 2 is a step in the right direction. The graphics are great and character have dept to them. No two characters fight moves look the same. Some are faster, others are strong. Combos are hard to master but fun to execute. The game character and game play evolves and different battle grounds offer something different. You will need to change your strategy to match your opponent skills and fighting style. And that is what makes it the most fun. I've to admit, i've yet to try the multi-player and story mode. But, so far playing Multi-verse has been fun. I actually love how they have use the multi-verse narrative. They have done a good job in portraying different version of same heroes from a different universe.

Great sequel to "Injustice: Gods Among Us"
This game is a well developed sequel for the previous DC game and is very enjoyable. The graphics are definitely better, and has more mini missions and assignments after beating story mode to keep the player coming back for more (play more missions, get more set pieces for select characters, in which you then have to play as select character to be able to utilize the armor pieces as it might be a higher level than the character - it goes full circle). I might be biased as I love DC superheroes, but this would be a great game to buy, regardless of whether you're a Marvel fan or don't know many DC characters in general.

AMAZING GAME
THE BEST fighting game I ever played. Everything is a 10/10. One of the best replay values in a game ever. The character leveling and the gear you earn keeps you wanting to play more and more. No pay to play bs. You earn it all. Iv put major hours into this game and still not bored. And they recently updated the character leveling from 20-30 with is great so I get to level them up more now. So if you’re looking for a fighting game with a lot of replay value, this is it!

Pretty good, better than injustice.
I'll say this, the characters are top notch, you can't complain about how good the characters look, and you know that's cool when the in game characters look better than the cut scenes. That's a first, the cut scenes play second fiddle, never thought I'd see that. Well the gameplay; my favorite character is black canary, she's got a super power, the canary cry, and it balances well with her martial arts moves. So far I pick her to fight almost all the bosses when I can choose her, actually one fight (story mode) I did pick green arrow, to fight Dr. fate and that turned out to be the right choice. The fighting moves are easier to use although it does get furious at times in the second round when the computer gives it all its got. The character roster is great too, with all the characters having great... character, the story is ok, it's a bit long winded at times but the fighting keeps you hooked up, as a matter of fact, you'll keep playing just one more round, so this game is hard to put down too. The gear system is better than I thought it would be, it doesn't confuse the characters original schemes like I thought, really well thought out and some of the gear enhances these iconic characters. There is also rpg elements such as leveling up and increasing the strength and other attributes of the characters, so this is really a well rounded "fighting game" it's almost hard to call it just a fighting game anymore because it's got so much depth now. This is a definite purchase if you are still on the fence.

Great game for casual AND serious fighting game fans alike.
Very fun game if you are a fan of fighting games, comic book character games OR both. Great story for the single player, with the ability to learn most of the characters along the way. The game is set up well for people that are casual to fighting games. I never felt like the moves were that hard to learn or that I was truly over powered. But the games is also set up for true fans of fighting games, that want to pour hours into perfecting their game. Mostly got the game for the Ninja Turtle DLC that is forthcoming, can't wait.
