Very useful item for weather station outdoor sending unit
Took me a little bit of search finding this great product. As you can see in the pictures very sturdy bracket, lightweight, painted, possibly rust-proof. It came with heavy duty screws. In my case, it made my weather station sender installation easy, because I could rotate for perfect south direction for accurate wind direction readings. I highly recommend for similar applications.

it is a strong, sturdy pole, but the included screws are not.
The pole worked well for mounting a weather station on my fence. The included screws were another matter... they must have missed a tempering process in their manufacture because their Phillips heads tore out when driving them into correctly-sized, pre-drilled pilot holes. I had to use other similar-sized Phillips screws I had on hand (which sustained no damage when driven into the pilot holes) to mount the pole successfully.

Larger than expected but good quality.
Did not realize how wide the pipe on the mount was. I got it for my weather station and at first thought it was too big. Ended up working perfectly because the weather station fits down inside the tube.Only complaint was the cheap screws. The head broke off one during install.

Excellent mount that works with Tempest Weather Station after modification
I recently purchased a WeatherFlow Tempest weather station and needed a J Pole type mount to attach it to. The Tempest weather station only accepts a pole diameter from 1” to 1.315” which is considerably smaller than a typical J Pole type mount. This particular mount has an outer diameter of 1.45” also making it too large for the Tempest but it works brilliantly with a bit of surgery. I’m including the information here with the hope that it will be useful for others.1. 1” PVC pipe has an outer diameter of 1.315" which coincides perfectly with the inner diameter of this mount. However, the opening at the top of the mount is likely to be slightly deformed which will make it difficult if not impossible to slip the PVC pipe into the mount. Since I didn’t need the cable opening (or rubber grommet) in the mount, I used a power miter saw to cut off a couple of inches off top of the mount just below the bottom of the cable opening. The mount is made of aluminum and cuts well with a carbide blade. I placed a wrap of painters tape at the cut location, easily cut it with a power miter saw and cleaned up the cut edges with a bit of 220 grit sandpaper. With the small section of the mount cut off, the tube is nearly perfectly round and allows the PVC pipe to be inserted into the mount. Note that it’s a tight fit and you’ll need twist the PVC into the tube. I managed to insert it approx. 5” and it’s definitely not going anywhere.2. Before inserting the 1” PVC pipe into the mount, I painted it with some satin white spray paint, once the paint was dry, I applied a bit or exterior caulk to the joint where the PVC pipe mates to the mount.3. Since I’m not routing any cables through the mount, and since I didn’t want any openings in the mount to become a potential home for bees/wasps/hornets, I cut a 1.5” length of PVC pipe in half, applied some caulk to the outside edges and slipped it in the mounting flange end of the mount to cover and seal the opening.4. Lastly, I gave the entire assembly a couple of coats of satin white spray paint.

Perfect size, feels solid
Purchased this to mount my weather station to my patio and it worked perfectly. Fits the Ambient weather WS2000 mounting gear. Feels very solid and has held up well through several heavy Florida storms so far!

Not as pictured
The bend in these is not an L-shaped 90°, picture is attached. It was OK for me because the device connected to it is adjustable enough to compensate for it, but if this wasn't mounted 30' up on the exterior wall of a commercial building where it can't be easily seen, I would have sent it back. The holes in this would have been nice to run my cable through if the top hole was lower, towards the middle, but since I wasn't able to mount my device in the 1" between it and the top of the pole, I couldn't use it. Instead, they just became holes that I had to plug up to keep the water, dirt, and insects out.Pros:Lightweight, rigid, mounting hole placement. I mounted this to the faceplate of a 2-gang electrical box, and the base of this mount was just inside of all 4 screws, allowing me to bolt it to the faceplate, and then screw the faceplate back onto the junction box tightly to seal it from the weather.I wouldn't purchase this again, and likely wouldn't even use it if it was free. The bend not being correct is a deal-breaker for me.

Antenna pole
Work out great, very lite, like the cable holes on top and bottom. Perfect on side of the house. Product price perfect.

Great stand, great price
Make sure you measure before buying. Not super tall but worked for my install. I love the openings for the cable, makes a clean looking installation. Pop off the top cap to make running the cable easier.
