Simple Effective Tool For Fencing
Ran a 125' woven wire cross fence with a gate, terminated to post on either end. Wore this wire twister out. The type of fence being used will influence the utility of this tool. I used it a 2"x4" woven wire horse fence, and it worked 'okay'. 2" was very often too small of gap to let this tool work as designed. I ended up grinding down one side of the tool so it would fit the gap. I received two tools, and both are pretty wore out. It's the ears that bend and wear. Overall, valuable tool that in spite of their limitations were value added. I used them to twist up to 12 gauge wire. This tool is listed as being designed for T-Post clips...yeah, no, tried using it for that purpose but found a simple screw driver was far superior. It worked really well terminating the wire tips around the end posts.

Not my favorite T-Post tool, but works for clips
I've used designs similar to hs one in the past and liked them, so when I saw these on Amazon, I grabbed them to replace the longer tool that jut has holes I bought a few years ago. This tool haste holes on one side, but they are too big for common ire sizes, so getting a good tight wrap is a little tricky, especially when trying to bend clips that have a short side. The tool just jumps off the short wire, rather than bending it. The flat end is what I was really wanting to use, but the way it's cut, it's difficult to get the wire trapped in the slot, while the bend is not tight enough to really grab the fence wire or cattle panel. I'm going to try putting more of a bend in it, and prying the little tabs back so they can engage the clips easier. I do like that the handle is shorter on these, so getting the tool between the gaps at the bottom, where the wires are closer together isn't too bad. With some minor changes, these could be easier to work with, and allow for wrapping various gauges of wire, and a wider range of fence clips.

Don't Get It Twisted....
This product saved a tremendous amount of time of installing clips to attach hog panel to T posts for our temporary fence system!Something to note, is that it does take an adjustment on figuring out how to use the tool. Once you get going, you're rocking and rolling until the job's done!
