Highly recommended ... Buy this!
I love this product, and will probably wind up (eventually) getting another one for my office. In fact, if it wasn't priced so high I'd probably get another one for my house as well. Don't get me wrong ... It is very well crafted, and will certainly last a long time, and is a pretty cool looking piece of tiny furniture, just a bit costly. It does the job as well; I'd never realized before just how important it was to have my feet supported when I sit. My back and neck feel so much better, it is little short of amazing. I love the solidity of it, and the wheels are great ... I use it on all surfaces: carpet, wood, tile and one of those plastic chair mats, depending on which room of my house I am in. I never have a problem with it being too slippery, and in fact would probably not like it as much if it was stationary. Moving my feet while I sit helps to increase circulation, and besides, it is just too much fun!It is so well designed that I could not imagine buying another type of foot rest, price not withstanding .... Highly recommended.

Great concept that has won me over!
I was originally leery at the price vs other options, but the posted reviews pushed me to take a shot. A single star was deducted as explained below. I hope the manufacturer is paying attention since it is on par with the other complaints. This little thing has worked great, and since my 80" desk has five 24" LED monitors spread out in a crescent, the mobility of it is perfect for my needs! This year has been great for business yet is requiring an extra focus at my workstation... basically keeping me tied to the chair 80+ hours a week. Even though I have no intention for it to continue much longer, my body was really starting to hurt and affecting my sleep. Therefore I recently invested in a proper high-end ergonomic chair which made me feel better almost instantaneously! (Seriously, if you have ever wavered on the cost and you spend more time at your desk than on your mattress, the $1000+ for these type of chairs is a bargain all day long) However, once my body was aligned properly to my workspace, I found my feet were not touching the ground. I have no desire to change out my custom desk purely for height, so the next best thing was a foot rest. With the added mobility, it has become THE best option! As the ads claim, the Webble is very comfortable with & without shoes. Not only is the mobility great for my setup since I am constantly turning 45deg left and then right, but it is also nice to keep my legs from remaining static for long periods. My feet are almost always doing a little dance with this thing, and my body feels better for it (Plus I am not as worried about clots - which were honestly never a concern until I started researching ergonomics). The downs as mentioned in many reviews:1. This thing needs carpet, and probably a tight berber or similar at that. Having wood floors, my current solution was to purchase a piece of tight weave (like an industrial door mat) that fits properly under my desk. Otherwise the Webble literally shoots across the floor and is unbearable. (Not to mention the casters would scratch the wood). Owners of longer types of carpet may need the same as I am not sure if plastic chair mat would even work.2. Having hardwood floors, I purchased wood compatible Rollerblade style polyurethane casters for all of our work chairs so we could enjoy the natural state. The caster stems for the Webble are not standard (and actually appear custom) and the wheels are the cheap plastic type, therefore the ONLY solution was the piece of carpet mentioned above. I did try without casters, but the mobility is lost and it would probably lead to scratching the floor anyhow.Let's hope the Webble does well enough for the company to produce a new version!... yet a version compatible with more types of flooring scenarios! Great product and will definitely purchase again, yet am waiting for an updated style.

Not a Good Footrest - Not Comfortable
I was intrigued by this footrest that can move. It looked good on paper. When I actually tried using it with my Herman Miller Embody, I found it created more strain/stress on my legs. Not having something to push against made my legs strain to stay in position.Rock and moving it around also sounded fun. The constant banging into the wheels on my office chair made it audibly annoying. Not having a way to lock the wheels is a deal breaker issue for me. I want to keep it in one spot most of the time, and have it roll around some of the time. Some kind of lock would have been better. (currently it only locks if you stand on it, which requires way too much weight to activate at the desk)I find it comfortable for bare feet and it's breathable.I've tried two additional products since I got this one. The Kensington Solemate Footest works better because it is stationary and provides a good cushion. I found the Half-Cylinder Foam Foot Cushion to be too tall for my leg height/desk height.Update: I don't use it anymore, it just doesn't work for me. My legs like something solid, and it caused irritation to my knees.

Pricey
I gave this product 3 stars mainly because its priced too high for what it is. It keeps me mildly entertained during a conference call but feel my money would have been better spent toward an under the desk pedaling mechanism or something that may feel more like a bit of exercise for the legs.

Perfect!
While I am saving the world and listening to people and their myriad of nonsense, I can fiddle around with my Webble - all while chewing gum!I found the netting to be very durable, which is good because I prop my feet on it in a rather "I just make my job LOOK easy" kind of way. All the materials are high quality with a sexy-geek appeal. I have not yet found a position that isn't uber comfortable, but I am sure the next time a client calls and begins the long dark verbal march into the abyss - well, I'll make time.My posture is improved, allowing others to look up to me more often. Also, given I am a little less tired at the end of the day thanks to sitting in a more relaxed position, I find I have a smidge more energy to help others find the meaning of it all.My coworkers have not yet purchased their own, possibly because they are not yet ready to concede once again that I am brilliant and am truly the leader of our pack. Invest now in this quality product and let your subordinates drool in envy and esteem!
