Close bail manually
Always close the bail manually with your hand just before the lure hits the water!Never crank to close the bail. Most larger reels of better caliber have manual bail or no bail at all.

Auto Bail doesn't work
Reel looks and feels really nice. but the auto bail doesn't work which is what some of the other reviews say as well. too bad, seemed like a nice reel
