My turtles love it so I do as well :)
My turtles love it, it lasts both of them a long time and they seem to love the taste and quality. I also love how large the container is because I don’t have to buy food so often.

My turtle loves this food
I have a water turtle that I've had for 29 years and he loves this food! It has good quality ingredients that are healthy for him as well. The size is great for the price and will probably last a year considering how much my turtle eats. I'll definitely be purchasing again.

My turtle LOVES it
I recently tried the Zoo Med Gourmet Aquatic Turtle Food, and I am very pleased with how well it has worked for my turtles! This food is a great addition to their diet and has made feeding time much more enjoyable.Pros:Variety of textures and flavors: The gourmet formula features a mix of pellets, shrimp, and other goodies that make feeding time exciting for my turtles. They love the different textures, which encourages them to eat.Nutritionally balanced: This food is packed with vitamins and minerals that are essential for my turtles’ health. I feel good knowing that I’m providing a balanced diet that supports their growth and well-being.Quality ingredients: The ingredients are high-quality, and I appreciate that they don’t contain fillers. This is particularly important for keeping my turtles healthy and active.Convenient packaging: The 11 oz size is perfect for regular feeding without taking up too much space in my pantry. The resealable bag helps keep the food fresh.Cons:Scent may be strong: Some users have mentioned that the scent can be quite strong when opening the bag. While this doesn’t bother me, it might be something to consider if you’re sensitive to odors.Overall, the Zoo Med Gourmet Aquatic Turtle Food is an excellent choice for turtle owners looking to provide a nutritious and enjoyable diet. It’s versatile, high-quality, and my turtles absolutely love it! I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to keep their aquatic pets happy and healthy!

Definitely a GOURMET BUFFET for turtles!!
I currently switched from Flukers to this Zoo Med Gourmet turtle food and all 4 turtles are enjoying it. Although I do have to say that my turtles seem to get excited about any food placed in the tank so maybe that's not the most convincing product review.I would have to say that it has made feeding them easier because of the mix of pellets, mealworms, shrimp and cranberries (Flukers just has pellets and mealworms.... occasionally you might get a dried shrimp or 2) allow you to just have one container of food instead of ordering multiple turtle food types. I also think that they need a variety of food for nutritional purposes and who just wants to eat pellets 365 days a year.I also noticed that this food didn't leave as much residue in the tank when I would clean it. Every time I cleaned the tank when using the Flukers food i would find a lot of what looks to be like pellets that decomposed at the bottom of the tank (maybe they didn't eat them all). So far the 2 months that I have been using the Zoo Med, I haven't run across any of the decomposed pellet like substance. The last thing i would like to bring up is that the amount of meal worms, dried shrimp and cranberries in the Zoo Med mix is very good. As I get towards the bottom of the bottle, I'm still getting a mix of everything. With the Flukers, it seemed like it was 90% pellets and 10% worms and about halfway through the Flukers you would see pretty much all pellets left. Plus when you get to the last bit of food in the Flukers container, you will see a lot of broken down mealworms in very small pieces or literally as meal worm dust.I don't think Flukers is a bad choice.... I'm just saying I think I found the Zoo Med Gourmet better for my turtles.

(((-Helpful Review-)))
Ok, this food isn’t bad and my turtle seems to eat it ok, but I don’t think it holds a candle to the Flukers brand turtle food. She tends to always prefer Flukers first. Now I have noticed a difference in the way the insects were dried from one brand to the next. So depending on which your turtle prefers more you should take that into account. The difference being, with this Zoo Med brand the insects seem to be more sun dried instead of the freeze dried like Flukers has. Sun drying insects can cause them to look a bit more deflated but they do tend to be more pliable. With brands like Flukers, the insects are freeze dried so they keep there normal shape and size without the shrinkage, but with that they also are more firm and breakable. Now I know every turtle can have there own preference, on top of being different types of turtles. So finding the foods that best suit your specific shelled pet is up to you to do some experimenting and testing brands out. As for this Zoo Med, like I said, it’s not bad, and your turtle may really dig it. My turtle eats it with no issues, but I can tell she just don’t like it as much as Flukers. Another good brand to test out is the Fluval brand bug bites pellets if you have a younger or small turtle. I have been purchasing countless different brands of turtle foods and testing them all out on her. Some brands are great, some are ok, and I have even found a few that my alligator snapping turtle won’t even touch. That should tell you how bad some of these brands can get. I have been trying to get reviews finished for every type I have tested out, so you may find some of my other reviews on different turtle foods. Check out some of my other turtle food reviews for help also. Now as for this Zoo Med Medley Blend, I have noticed that she (my snapper) always gos for the pellets that are in the mix first. So those must be her favorite out of all the stuff mixed in this bottle. But there is one thing added she won’t touch and if she does bite down on some she spits it right back out every time. That is the cranberry slices they added to this mix. She hates them. So I have been picking them out of the bottle so I don’t have to keep cleaning them out of the tank. I understand that cranberries were mixed in for dietary reasons but I seriously don’t think many turtles will eat them. Maybe a tortoise but not many turtles. Anyways, the question is would I suggest this Zoo Med mix to others? Sure. It’s not a bad food, and your turtle may prefer it to others. Plus ZM has been a pretty trustworthy name in the pet industry for a while. And when you look at the price comparison to other brands like Flukers, this Zoo Med is about half the cost for twice as much. But you should always make your final decision based on what your turtle prefers and what is the best for beneficial health. Never use the cost for your sole measuring stick. You could end up buying something that is terribly unhealthy for them, and if they don’t like the food, they will feel forced to eat it. On top of the fact that most people don’t think about how bad it would be to have to eat the exact same food everyday for the rest of there life. So my suggestion is to mix it up a bit, buy multiple brands. Surprise them with something new as often as possible. Make sure to read the labels and check to make sure it has the necessary vitamins your pet needs. I know this has been a long review, but I write it in hopes that it helps you (and your turtle) to be much happier.
