Helpful deterrent for birds
These are good quality owls, useful to deter birds. Just fill them up with sand, rocks, or other heavy objects to keep them from tipping over. The birds were pecking at the fruit on my trees, and stealing cat/dog food from my pets' bowls on the front porch. I don't mind sharing the pet food, but they were making terrible poopy messes on my porch rail. It's very important to frequently move the owls! The birds get accustomed to the owls and figure out they're not real. The owls aren't foolproof, but they do help deter the birds along with other tactics I use such as moving the pets' bowls to different area of the porch, hanging windchimes from the fruit tree limbs, attaching fake fruit to the fruit trees, and frequently repositioning toy rubber snakes. I also purchased the more expensive bobble head owl for my retired neighbor to protect his vegetable garden - it works great but he frequently moves it and, as I mentioned, it cost quite a bit more.

Owls hung, no bats 1st night
I hung the owls on my back porch yesterday. No bat dung overnight so I'm assuming no bats roosted there last night. Hope this continues

Didnt work to scare the ducks
I guess I have smart ducks because the owls didn't work to keep them from swimming and crapping on my deck and my pool LOL. One duck was laying down 2 ft from one LOL.

Pretty good deterrent.
I bought these to combat a pair of highly determined blue birds, who were side bombing every window on my house and cars. The owls sort of work. Initially, the birds are scared of them. But then they realize that they are not a threat, and it’s back to divebombing your windows and pooping on everything in the process. So one day I was watching the bird attack my back window. I grabbed the owl and chased the bird off the property. That was yesterday morning. It’s been 30 hours now and no sight of the blue bird! So maybe if you run after the bird with the fake owl in your hand, that’s what does the trick. Strongly advise doing this without neighbors watching you.

Real Looking
These look very real although they were a smaller than I anticipated, but owls can be this small.

This product is a lie
Does not work as described ... clearly birds are eating my grass seed right in front of the owl statue ... I only purchased to use for the birds not for decoration .... they also provided a label that clearly says it will prevent birds from going in your yards ... absolutely not true whatsoever ... and I can't even submit this unless I give it atleast one star when it should get 0 stars ... unacceptable

Goldfinch Repellent
We bought these to deter goldfinches from perching on our front porch. The 3 pack of owls are a good size and have a nice hole in the bottom to fill the figures with sand or leftover (smaller) decorative rocks. Once filled, they are very sturdy.
