We weren’t sure what to expect but my husband has been using this now for about 3 months and his hair is noticeably darker / less grey! He’s late 50’s, with a strong head of hair, which is salt n pepper grey. He is now using it every other wash, so on average twice a week, to maintain the colour. He didn’t want to dye his hair and have a sudden & dramatic colour change, and this shampoo has created a naturally more blended colour. Others have reported issues with staining of fingers, nails, shower area but he’s not experienced any of this. What isn’t entirely clear is whether to wash his hair once or twice with the shampoo, each time, as with regular shampoo you wash hair twice then condition. So what he’s doing is washing his hair first with regular shampoo, then, after rinsing, using GX, and forgoing any conditioner. He says his hair feels cleaner doing it this way, as when he only washes it once his hair doesn’t feel squeaky clean!

Used for my beard. Gives a natural looking finish. Be patient and you'll see the results after 5 washes. I apply once a week to top up. Much prefer a regular wash in dye like this, rather than a permanent dye which looks harsh and fake. Use gloves to protect hands from staining and a seperate face towel to dry off after rinsing. Dye will ruin towels

The performance of this shampoo is excellent! It leaves your hair feeling silky smooth and soft to the touch and easy to manage and it gives a Full look to your hair while making your hair look the best it ever has. There is a very mild “hair dye” smell when you use this product but it’s a super mild smell that lasts only about two hours at most. After that it’s gone. So the smell does not linger and it diminishes altogether in about two hours. It smells on the same level as any other normal shampoo you buy on the shelf which contains any kind of Parfum. By the time you step out of the shower almost all the smell will be gone. This product does exactly as it promises to do. I have been using this product about two months now. Before I started using it about 85% of my hair was ( silver/ grey) . I used it straight everyday and in as little as 10 days I started noticing a big change on the top as well as the sides of my head .the grey color surely enough started disappearing so I kept using it. After 14 days of using it my hair was a complete total different color. I was suprised and delighted ! I look much younger now. I haven’t seen my normal natural hair color in quite awhile now. This will get rid of almost all, but not all of your grey/ silver hair. Even the box says very plainly on the front of the box That it will not remove all of your grey/ silver hair. It works fantastically ! It met all of my expectations and more. After 14 days of using it my hair was darkened very satisfactorally to the amount I wanted which was about 97% of the top and back and sides. I can still see a small amount of siver/ grey roots underneath just next to my ears but I’m not much worried about that area at all. So after 14 days of using it everyday. I don’t use it everyday anymore. There is no further need to use it everyday so I’m in “ maintenance mode” now and I now use it just once a week , now is all that is needed to maintain the color. The other days of the week you use your normal hair shampoo and conditioner as you normally would. A few tips on using this: Use rubber latex gloves when applying this!!! By all means. Don’t be like a bunch of idiotic guys on YouTube who made videos after using it and they eventually ended up with purple/ black stained hands/ fingernails ( I have no stains whatsoever on my hands because I’m smart enough to use rubber latex gloves when using it) I saw the idiots on YouTube . Turn off your shower when applying it. Don’t be a “ splasher “ so go ahead and turn off the water. This will keep it from splashing onto the walls or the bathtub itself or any other surface you don’t want to get stained. ( this product will stain any surface it comes into contact with enamel, tile, plastic and the surface of the floor itself) Again I have no stains at all in my shower because I’m smart enough to turn off the water when I am using it. I turn on the water only when rinsing off. I turn on the water get my hair soaking wet, turn off the water and apply, after applying I let it sit on my head for a few minutes then soap up and take my shower rinsing off my body..... then I rinse off my head very last. Using this technique there isn’t a single stain anywhere in my bathroom whatsoever. Talking about stains: This is a big One. Pay very close attention to this part...... after you apply this to your head make sure and rinse off all areas of your face, forehead, earslobes and your neck. If this lotion gets on any part of your face, neck , shoulders chest or back areas rinse it off as soon as possible...... do not! I repeat Do not let this lotion remain on your forehead, face, earlobes neck or shoulders or your back if it gets on those areas, after 5 minutes this lotion will stain any areas that it touches. So if you have some on your forehead wipe it off as soon as possible, after 5 minutes you will regret it, you will look like a big geeky dork with a big purple/ black stain on your forehead! You will look like Gorbachev from Russia. So to avoid looking like that just rinse it off those areas as soon as you can after applying it. ( forehead, face, neck, shoulders, chest, back, arms) and you will be fine. I’m smart enough to do this so there is no stain on my forehead that looks like a map of Russia. Gentlemen I wish you all the success in the world of using this product! It’s highly recommended and performs great! In about 14 days you should see some major changes in all areas. Once your hair reaches your desired amount of color change then you can switch to “ maintenance mode” and use it only once a week will be fine after that. Don’t forget to use rubber latex gloves!!! Delivered on time . Arrived in good condition packaging wise. Has an ally foil seal over the nozzle under the cap. I think after opening to air it starts to degrade in performance bit by bit. The instructions say leave on for 2 mins or more to get results. I find it a nice combined conditioner and shampoo, but ive used cheaper alternatives for that job. It comes out of the tube almost golden. Rich and creamy. Feels nice rubbing into the hair and scalp. Ive left mine on my hair for ever 8 minutes....and my hair is still whiter than the driven snow! PS. dont forget your eyebrows. Personally...i cannot detect any colouring effect. What does happen though is that mixing it in the air with water causes the solution to go black. Both in the water , in your hands, on your sink and bathroom tiles and especially on an towels or hand clothes you may have nearby. A good rinse dyes the sink water black..the sink walls black, the tiles and mortar are affected by any splashes. And my orange facetowel is now a camouflage dappled finish. Any darkening of the hair seems totally accidental.

En mi caso, (canas laterales), ha funcionado a la perfección. Necesité unos 15 usos para la desaparición total de las canas, obteniendo un color natural y que no "canta". Para el mantenimiento, lo uso un par de veces por semana y es suficiente para mi. Al principio lo aplicaba en la ducha pero ahora lo aplico fuera previamente con el pelo humedecido previamente, distribuyendo bien, espero dos minutos y ya me ducho con normalidad. No me es necesario aplicar mucha cantidad y dura bastante.
