Love this lip ointment for mydry lips, am unable to find in the store anymore, so glad to have found it. Vaseline doesn’t work, chapstick doesn’t work, this is the only one for me.

Blistex Ointment, So glad I found it online!
I have used Blistex ointment for as long as I can remember to keep my lips from getting dry and cracked. It seems recently I haven't been able to locate it in my local store, like I used to. I went ahead and ordered them in bulk on Amazon. Glad I did. This ointment keeps my lips supple and soft and it does tingle just a bit if you have a crack or small sore. I don't mind it myself. I tried the lip balms and I don't like them at all. Too slick and slimy for my liking. I prefer a bit of a tingle on my lips, then I know its working. I keep this stuff in several rooms of my home and in my purse and autos and use it several times a day. Especially at night. Then I wake up and when I apply my lipstick it goes on smoothly. Then to mute the color a bit I apply a tiny bit more. I think it is a great product and I hope they keep making it and Amazon gives me the option to buy it. Don't know what I would do without it? Hope I never have to find out.

Pharmacist Recommended
After my first ski trip at 19, I returned with dry, cracked, “almost-bleeding” lips. My local pharmacist recommended Blistex, and my lips felt relief immediately and healed quickly. I’ve been using it ever since whenever my lips feel dry. Sometimes I put a “dot” of it over my lipstick. I carry one in my purse, and one in a small first aid box in my glove compartment when I drive out of town. I prefer this version of the product because it has a built-in applicator, where other versions require you use your finger or something to spread it evenly on your lips. For me, it’s the “Neosporin” for the lips.

Blistex is the best chapped lip treatment available
I bought this Blistex medicated lip ointment because I've used it for years and love it much more than any other lip ointment/balm. Another thing you could look out for, is that the prices can vary by quite a bit. I snapped up this set of six tubes when I saw it for under $7.00 ($1.17/each)!For those who have never used Blistex before, I think it works amazingly well. If you've ever had badly chapped lips, look no further. It immediately leaves a cooling, somewhat stinging feeling and for a few moments, then it will subside. It has a slightly minty flavor, with some medicine-like taste... although not overwhelming. It does feel wet, not at all like Chapstick or a lip balm. Definitely don't put it on before you're going to drink anything.I've had days where my lips have been very badly chapped. I'll apply Blistex before I go to bed, and in the morning they're healed. Or I'll apply it in the morning, and within a few hours my lips will feel better. It also works really well when I've cracked open my lip...because I didn't have Blistex on hand at the time. It'll take a couple of days, but a balm (even the kind that begins with "O") never has worked--at all for me. When I was in labor my lips were becoming extremely chapped. What caused it was all of the breathing I needed to do, combined with my lack of water intake. My husband was handing me ice chips, followed by my Blistex on a frequent schedule.I NEVER accept any offers for free products or discounted prices.
