Easy to use but the warning label is concerning it’s NOT non toxic
This product is very easy to use and worked perfectly to make plaster craft ornaments. We love painting ornaments each year and plaster craft seems to be a thing of the past as you will not find a large selection in any craft store nowadays. I will drill holes once dry so they will be able to hang on the Christmas tree. The only concern/dislike I have is the warning/caution label. In the description it states non toxic but the bag states otherwise. See picture. This product hardens with a chemical reaction between the calcium sulfate hemihydrate and chrystalline silica. The bag states to use gloves and a respirator and also to use in a well ventilated room. So needless to say the kids weren’t happy when I wouldn’t let them make the mix and put in the molds. Per the warning on the bag you also shouldn’t use this to make handprint molds. Again see my picture of the back of the bag.

Worked out well for me
I wanted to try making some trinket trays. Cement seemed too daunting for me so I got this instead. Worked well. Very easy to mix and it didn’t make too many lumps. It did start drying quickly when I didn’t have enough water in the mix. it was dry within 30 minutes. And it sanded easily too. I used water and a sanding block and it was a breeze to smoothen out any lumps. I also added some acrylic paint to make the color chips that are in there. Overall I’m happy with the end results. Will buy more!

Work quickly and swirxtly
Love this product. I bought it to use in silicone flower pot molds and they turned out wonderful. Dry in 45min, I’m able to get quiet a few made in one day! Verse the cement I was using before and that took 24 hours. It also paints very well!

Perfect Plaster really lived up to its name...
I wanted to let my grandson discover dinosaurs in his own front yard. It was a snap. I lightly greased and filled the molds, and in no time I had bones! I mixed up some more plaster and set the bones into the wet plaster base. What a surprise he discovered in his sandbox on his covered front porch, when I gave him a shovel and a paintbrush and asked him to dig. Totally worth it. Three dinosaurs live there now!

Ok, but prefer Perfect Cast by same company instead.
It's just ok. Got the job done but left many holes in the product. Mixed and casted as directed, tapping mold after fill to eradicate bubbles. I made 3 batches so far using different measurements to see if it made a difference... using more water made the dry time more but the details came out a little better although completed item wasnt as sturdy- when mixing as directed i got the result in images. We used 8 different molds, some very plain styles and some more intricate and obviously the ones with designs all had issues/flaws but some of the "plain" styles did as well. If using molds I would suggest this company's other product "perfect cast" which we also bought and got infinitely better results.. down side is that it's less product per cost but worth it in the end. If you want something to test out or just use in a pinch this does dry quick, is accessible with the cost, and comes out feeling very smooth to the touch- just know you will have to work quick (use cold water) and fill your mold enough to cover the detail and tap out as much bubbles as you can to get the best results.
