Yes, we have had no problems using this with our Canon 80D cameras, both purchased 2016.

Does this work with the 5d mark iv?

Yes it does, which is what I purchased it for. It should work with any camera that uses the LP-E6 line of batteries. Don't forget to bend out the cutout for the cord, as you won't be able to turn the camera on unless the battery door is completely closed. The cord bends through the notch on the end at a right angle.

Does this work with the canon eos rebel sl3 dslr?

I doubt it - according to the Canon USA website, you’d need the DR-E18 coupler, but they use the same AC supply.

How long is the cable?

Cable length is 7.5 feet from battery to transformer connector.
