I recently had a media center desktop computer upgraded to new components (CPU, Memory, etc.). This computer had two HDMI outputs. In the "second" system in which I use this computer I have a 7" monitor and a video projector. I use the monitor when I play music and the projector when I show movies using this system. (I can use them both at the same time but I usually do not do so.)Well, that media center computer HAD two HDMI outputs but the newer components came with only one HDMI output and one Display Port output. This adapter works great! It's a simple plug-and-play solution that connects my second monitor without any issues. The 4K picture is crisp and the build quality feels solid. Highly recommend.

When you update your monitor it's best to use the new HDMI cord that comes with it or you won't get the performance the system is capable of. This little adapter solves that problem if your computer doesn't have the HDMI port. Simple, well made and works great!

Pretty good, gets the job done. I use it for my second monitor however it tends to overheat and the video kind of shuts off. Can't really blame the product, my computer gets very hot from editing videos

Works great for HDMI content. Be aware of the unidirectional nature of these, meaning you'll only want to adapt DP -> HDMI and not the opposite. Metal build quality feels great. Connections feel secure. Tiny little adaptor is perfect for use anywhere. Super portable and even works daisy chained with a Mini DP to DP adaptor (for 1080p, at least).
