TimexMen's Expedition Acadia 40mm Watch – Triple Black

When people said this watch is loud, I didn't believe them. How loud could a watch be? I own other watches, especially in this price range, and none are as loud as this one. I'm only keeping it because I think the tick tock noise it makes is part of its charm and almost nostalgic. Honestly weighs nothing, but that's fine for how much it cost. Great cheap watch, just probably swap the strap cause the one it comes with is kinda ugly.

This is a replacement for my previous Timex Expedition watch, which lasted about 15 years of constant use before its stem finally broke. That was the most durable watch I've ever had. I only hope that the replacement has the same movement. It looks a little different: the case and the numbers are a bit larger, and the crystal a bit flashier. Same "Indiglo" feature and same very small date numbers. Even if it only lasts half as long, it will have been worth a couple times the price. It came with the warning that the battery is not intended to be replaced by the owner, and the screws in the back can only be turned with a triangular bit. That's unfortunate, because it means I'll have to take it to a jeweler every year or two instead of replacing the battery myself.

Good looking watch. Had my previous timex for almost 20 yrs. Hope this one lasts at least half as long. I do t know what some other reviewers we talking about, this watch is quiet and, so far, keeps accurate time

This is what I expected it fits well and is a good value at Amazon price and I have had a few Timex watches .

I work in a government office and bought this as a more subtle alternative to my Movado 800 series. It serves that purpose very well. Great value considering its price while also looking the part. Really like how the white face contrasts the case & strap. It’s light as a feather, and I was able to set the time & date without instructions. It does “tick” pretty audibly but I would imagine that wouldn’t be a problem for most of you.

Love this watch. The style and design are sharp and it’s comfortable to wear. Indiglo works great. Good value for the money.

Great watch for those that prefer analog platform with 48 hr reference on the watch face as well. The big sell for me is the indiglow watch face illumination nothing else works as well. I like that the time adjustment button has a guard on either side to avoid pressed button inadvertently activating the indiglow function. Solid time piece at a great price point.

A useless warranty. I have used this particular model for well over twenty years, probably longer, always buying a new one when the prior one failed. I probably had three, possibly four of them during that time, and I have been sufficiently satisfied. However, this the dial light newest one failed after 10 months. Amazon sent me info about contacting Timex requesting replacement. They informed me they don't do replacements, but if I wanted to wait 2-3 months they would repair it. Really. Absolutely worthless. You get a 30 day warranty with Amazon, but that's it.
