I bought this for my husband to use as a lunch cooler. I have purchased the usual brands in the past and they either don't keep his food cold all day or the are flimsy and end up coming home with duct tape holding the lid on. And don't get me started on the prices for these pieces of junk with a "name" on them. When I saw this I thought "why not, Klein makes tough tools, why not a cooler". It came pretty quickly and I also ordered the 2 Klein ice packs for the bottom. It is a really sturdy cooler and can actually double as a seat at break time! It has a ton of room inside and a secure compartment in the lid for napkins, utensils, whatever. PERFECT! The first lunch i packed all fit with no squishing and the carry strap works much better than those solid handles that can't be thrown over your shoulder. It has a place for a lock on the lid if you happen to have a snack cake snatched on site and we've all had one of those at one time or another! It kept my husband's lunch cold, his drinks frosty and his brownies safe! This is THE BEST COOLER I have ever purchased and I will never, ever spend too much money on those other brands again! And you shouldn't either! We have taken it to the beach, the lake, fishing trips, you name it and it always performs at 110%.

I will have to say I have bought several coolers over the years and for the money this Klein is worth every penny! Although I know Klein has an EXCELLENT reputation for their tools and I do own several, I wasn’t looking to them for a cooler. I should have known they would not put their name on anything that wasn’t top of the line and this cooler was no exception. The whole reason I looked at the cooler was the simple shoulder strap that was even more sturdy than the pictures. I like a cooler that has a strap that way my hands are free to carry other things like a laptop or something else. This also cuts back on trips to the truck. This cooler is tough and I mean Honey Badger tough! It is a little heavy, very sturdy and very well made. It also has a small storage compartment in the top of the lid for small items. Klein also claims that this cooler will support a 300 pound man I can’t say for sure, but it is a great seat for me at 180 lbs. (I would be willing for someone to try it) And last but definitely not least YES, YES, YES! this cooler keeps my stuff cold!!! I can say I have only tested it for two days and it did awesome! Normally I would look for a cooler made by companies like Colman, Igloo, and Ozark Trail which I either have or still own. They are all good but for my everyday lunch cooler this one is top shelf number one! I have had other people to ask, “Hey is that a Klein tool box?” “That’s nice” And when I open it up with food in it they love it. I really can’t say enough about it and I will update later.

I've been using Klein electrical tools for years so when I needed a new lunch cooler for work sites, figured I'd stick with what I know. This thing is built exactly like you'd expect from Klein - tough as nails and designed by people who actually work for a living. The 17-quart size is perfect for a full day on the job. Fits my lunch, drinks, snacks, and still has room for ice packs. Not so big that it's a pain to carry but plenty of space for everything I need during a 10-hour shift. Insulation is legit - my drinks stay cold all day even sitting in a hot truck or out in the sun. Ice packs are still partially frozen when I get home which never happened with my old cooler. Makes a huge difference when you're working outside in summer. Build quality is what you'd expect from Klein. Heavy duty construction that can handle being tossed around job sites, dropped off tailgates, and generally abused. The latches are solid and the hinges feel like they'll last forever. The handle is comfortable and doesn't dig into your hand when it's loaded up. Shoulder strap is a nice touch too for when you're carrying other gear and need your hands free. Fits perfectly behind the seat of my truck and doesn't slide around while driving. Size is just right for most work vehicles without taking up too much space. Easy to clean out at the end of the week - just hose it down and it's ready to go. No weird corners or crevices where stuff gets stuck and starts smelling funky. Price is fair for Klein quality. Yeah you can get cheaper coolers but they'll fall apart in six months. This feels like it'll last as long as my Klein pliers and screwdrivers. Perfect work cooler that actually keeps up with the demands of real job sites. Finally don't have to worry about warm drinks and soggy sandwiches.

Really nice quality masculine cooler. Built for rough work or play. Keeps stuff cold for longer than the average coolers and it looks cooler too. It is very roomy for all day's food and drink. It has a nice shoulder strap and is easy to clean.

Perfect service truck cooler. Lid stays secure, works well as a seat keeps my stuff cold all day and it’s been nearly 100 degrees every day would get 5 stars but I HATE the carry handle. Would have been better if it was a metal handle or something. Otherwise, great buy.

I was looking for a decent esky as a tradie who is also on the road all day. Turns out I had to look to the US - and this is one solid unit. Best esky I have used, fits drinks and food and cutlery and more, and keeps it all cool, and doubles as a decent seat. Doesn’t hold a slab but 18 cans is close enough.
