25Pcs AXD-1W-5V LED Chips, 5V LED Chip Bulb, 200LM 1W High Power LED Lamp Beads for DIY Lighting Fixtures(Pure White 60006500K)

The media could not be loaded. I purchased these chips over a year ago. I was going to use them in a costume project. With a simple circuit on a 9 volt battery, 1 chip alone could illuminate a dark room very easily. I recently created a test circuit with three of these chips on 1 9 volt battery and it still can provide enough light for the area. Of course, you could extend it by adding more batteries, but it can still get the job done with whatever project you may have.Just, try not to look directly into the light.

I've purchased this product twice and have used the leds in several applications.I've never run them over 5v and always had them mounted to heatsinks. I've learned that if they are run continuously ( 8 hours per day )The lenses will fog and then turn brown blocking most of the light. They work fine for applications where they are turned on infrequently.

I used the LEDs to light up a piece of quartz rock. They work well using a solar panel that was used previously for garden lights!!

Good for holiday or small projects

This button LED is used for things that you can not get a large heat sink into. And it gets so hot that it melts it's own solder joint and falls off it's base/heatsink.

Feb 2025 update - these have turned brown after a few months of use.Needed some 5V UV LEDs to light up my uranium glass collection and these worked perfectly. They get quite warm so it's wise to use a heatsink with proper mounting (I'm using 40mm square x 11mm and heatsink adhesive). Definitely 1W power - measured 5.14V @ 225mA so a little over 1W power consumption.

These are older generation LEDs that run way too hot (can easily burn yourself) not recommended unless planing to mount to heat sink fins.
