I’ve read all the reviews and decided that this is a 5* product because:1) Xiaomi has never failed me in quality, I use Mi phones, fan, vacuum robot and now this pump. All great products.2) This pump is best used for weekly top ups for your tyre pressures. Yes, it will be noisy because it’s a mini air compressor inflating a tyre. So no minus points for that.3) It’s small enough to carry in a backpack or tuck into a corner of the car or garage. The weight is in the specifications for all to see.4) It has a good build quality and finish.Remember, this is a supplementary device best used for maintaining tyre pressures at weekly/monthly check ups. To inflate a tyre go the the station.That also defeats the complaint most people have of having to hold the device. It won’t take more than 30 seconds to top off each tyre so 🤷🏻‍♂️And yes, it will heat up, that’s only if it’s been overworked.The air hose needs to be carefully threaded in, that’s all you have to ensure after which it does it’s job efficiently.Set the pressure that you want and then thread on the hose, it will display the current pressure of the tyre, if it is more than the desired pressure, then the pump won’t work. Unthread the hose and let out a little air from the tyre, use your judgement to get it just below desired pressure. Then thread back the hose, if the pressure is less than what you have set the pump, turn it on and it will inflate the tyre and cut off on achieving the desired pressure.Remember to check tyre pressures when the tyres have not been run (cold); and check the users manual for the correct tyre pressure as per the size of your tyre.Accurate tyre pressures improve grip, mileage and braking and also prevent punctures.

This product is built well . I used it a around 3 times now and it did the job . It cannot be used to refill car tyres as the battery life is sufficient only for motorcyles or bicyles

The Inflator is powerful, and the battery holds for a long period of use. I have tested on mountain bike 26 inch = fully inflated in less than a minute. I tested as well on SUV's tyers = fully inflated in 4 - 5 minutes

This is for sure gonna get you out of a fix.So far I have tested it on the wheelbarrow tire & it inflated it from completely flat to full in about 30 secs at 1.5 bar I think it was.Solid build, ease to use & it actually works!

The pump is helpful, easy to use, good design. It is sufficient for bicycles and ball inflation, but does not manage well car tyres. This is to be expected due to the compact size, but Xiaomi advertises being able to handle car tyres too. However, this is not part of the negative rating, just a remark.Initially, the device looks high quality. One pump failed completely after a year due to rapidly reducing battery performance that started already at 8-9 months of usage. The pump was in duty once a week, topping-up only a couple of PSIs in a MTB tyre. The batteries are not replaceable.The second pump failed with the pressure measurement (probably sensor defect) after 5 months, having the same duties only. On room air it shows PSI 30-50, so no accurate automatic tyre inflation is possible. It cannot be re-calibrated, even not with complete drainage of the battery.It could be a nice pump, but due to the production quality, I would not recommend it at all. Two pumpfailures in 18 months are unacceptable. Next I go for a bit more expensive Bosch.

Battery life is just enough to top up one flat tyre, could have better battery backup.Not sure if you can leave this device inside the car with temperatures reaching 70-80 deg(inside car) in peak summers
