We really like this ice cream scooper. It's heavy and easy to hold which makes it easy to use. One thing I should point out is the scooper part is an odd shape and you have to get used to it BUT it does scoop the ice cream out perfect and because it's heavy you don't have to use a lot of strength to do so. Throw it in the dishwasher and we have no complaints. We would definitely recommend!

Scoops ice cream like a boss. Feels great in the hand, cuts through cold ice cream without too much resistance, makes nice scoops, and releases them easily. I eat more ice cream now just for the joy of using this scoop.

I have been using this scoop for about two months now, and I am really blown away with just how good it is for me. Some folks might find some of my preferences different from their own so I’ll try to point out some potential differences of opinion.My first positive impression was just examining it after removing from the packaging. It is really pretty. The soft black handle (in my case) was very comfortable to hold. The thing is very solid feeling and has some heft to it. It is no light weight, and I like that. Some may find it heavier than they prefer, but the vast majority of folks will like it.The scoop portion itself is a beautiful highly polished stainless steel shell with a very unique shape. This unique shape makes it very easy to scoop out very firm ice cream. The scoop design is really the high point for me. This scoop might not be the best choice for someone wanting to make perfectly round scoops for a cone, but for wholesale scooping ice cream into a bowl, it can’t be beat.There is a little lid opening feature built into the handle. It does no harm being there, but I don’t find it very useful and don’t use it.This is the best scoop I have ever owned and I totally recommend it for anyone whose main goal it to shovel ice cream into a bowl.
