I love music. My life is not complete without it. However, my previous head unit was old school and didn't have Bluetooth. This solved that problem. My Jeep is the opposite of secure, having no doors and just a bikini top. While I would love to have a fancy GPS screen with back up camera, I would be nervous about someone helping themselves to it. This Pyle head unit does everything I need it to at a price that wouldn't hurt too bad if I had to replace it. Most stereos do not have big amps built in, only smaller ones to give standard sound quality. You should not expect bumping sound from your speakers with any head unit but this has plenty of power to ensure it functions exactly as it should. If you need to impress people in other vehicles while driving, get a secondary amp. A big selling point was a tangible volume knob. My CJ7 is a stick shift so you have to pay more attention to the road. As this fit perfectly in the previous sun glass holder spot, the unit is mounted in my center console. The knob keeps me from looking down to find the correct button. As for heat, this thing has never overheated even though my Jeep has zero AC.

Bought as a budget head unit for my commander to use with NOAM speakers that were on when I bought it. Bluetooth has a great range. Works as intended

Upgraded the marine radio on our pontoon. The old radio was a removable radio that never worked well. Wanted this radio with bluetooth and it works and sounds great (even with the old speakers) - but still decided to update the speakers as well. Only downside is some of the "bouncy" eq lights don't work in one small section - but I really don't care as I'm not watching these lights.

Bought this to replace my Sony marine radio, which still worked but was old and didn't have Bluethooth or Aux inputs. First impression out of the box was it felt a little light weight and "cheapish." I attribute this to newer technology with lighter components. Install was easy, wiring harness matched up will and head appropriate length. The existing opening required some modification, which was easily done with an exacto knife. The new mounting sleeve fit perfect and did no require any additional mounting.SOUND - I've been using this radio for over a month, I am extremely pleased with the sound!! Admittedly I had low expectations but have been really impressed with the quality of the audio. The older radio was giving off a "tick tick tick tick" sound when I had the depth finder on at the same time. The Pyle does not have this problem! I almost exclusively use the BT function since installing and have had zero issues. Connects easy, and stays connected. The USB also is a handy feature that allows me to charge my phone etc... All in all, great price, great stereo, would recommend this to anyone looking for a cheap upgrade or replacement radio.

Definitely can not recommend something that didn't work when I got it all installed. Spent a few hours taking apart my bike fairing to install this. When I'm almost done, I plug in the connections and slide it into sleeve. It slides right thru.... Sleeve to support this radio is so thin that it didn't stop it from dropping thru. I pulled it back up, bent side tabs way in so that it would hopefully catch, which it did. But being so thin, what bump is going to cause it to drop further and pop the trim ring off causing me to lose that going down the road! Anyway, I turn the key on and nothing. I called tech support, and confirmed with them that I just replaced a radio that was working, with theirs that is not. Yes, three wires, red to red, black to black, and yellow to yellow. Checked fuses, nope. I pulled it out and sent back for a refund. I liked the look of the radio face layout, and the wattage output, but everything else was a disappointment. I even asked if they offered a better sleeve, to which the lady from India Tech support said she will pass along my suggestion to them..... Needless to say, I'm not going to tear apart my fairing again for a Pyle.

I was looking for a nice radio to replace the old am/fm cassette player in my boat. Don't laugh, it came with the boat.If you are looking for a great radio, with a great price, this is your radio. It has Bluetooth among other features plus a remote.

Decent stereo and sounds good but you cannot read the display in the daylight.

The value of this radio is exceptional. The stock radio on my 2010 Yamaha SX240 stopped working. All I was really looking for was a Bluetooth radio that can play my from my phone when on the water. This little radio packs a punch for it's size. It seems louder than the stock system and has a much cooler display. I paired it with the Pyle marine case and the install was very straight forward and easy to do. This product was so inexpensive compared to the competitors that I was hesitant to purchase even it this thing only lasts 3 years, I would still consider it worth the investment.
