I searched forever to find a test that tested for blood in urine and finally found it. This item is great to have on hand to put your mind at ease for numerous questions. Mostly ruling out a uti. Of course it’s not a diagnosis, just a tool to give you an idea. 100% recommend.

I've used these test strips for many years to keep track of the health of my urinary tract as I get UTIs and kidney infections often due to medical issues. About two weeks ago I was experiencing some pretty bad symptoms. The test strip identified high amounts of Leukocytes, Nitrites, Protein, Blood, Keytones, Bilirubin and Calcium. For fear of my right and only kidney, I went to urgent care. I found out that due to a very bad infection my kidney function dropped from 90% to 39%. I've been diagnosed with kidney disease and am now considered in Kidney failure. I have to take antibiotics for 2 weeks and hope the percentage doesn't drop further. All in all, if it weren't for these strips, I wouldn't have went into urgent care because the symptoms are similar to having the flu with body aches. I suppose for some people there could be false results, but take it from me, don't ignore then possibility of a positive. Get checked anyway!

I've used this product twice when I suspected a UTI. Wanted to have some confirmation before I went to my doctor for a culture and antibiotics. Both times the strips were accurate and indicated an infection which was backed up by lab reports. I like that it also checks for blood in the urine, when many test strips do not. Again, it proved accurate.

I have MS and self-catheterize. I try to keep an eye out for UTIs. When I tried using this, the dyes ran into each other and some of the foil packs were actually empty so I don’t know what the deal is. I’m more concerned about the and accuracy of the test, cute packaging cute name but it does nothing forthe confidence in my testing. There’s no way I can trust this accuracy when the colors are running into each other …. horrible! The one brand I used before seems to no longer be available. But I’ve use plenty others and never seen colors run like this. Hopefully they fixed it. Otherwise, please avoid. Updated - the Hattie brand reached out to me with an apology and a refund. Not hard to use. Gives a result as promised. Would buy again.

Pro: - packaging that doesn't expose every strip to air - a seemingly fairly secure vial for storing samples if you collect early but can't mess with it later - the guide (more later on its usefulness) is more water resistant than many( though not laminated or anything), and sure beats comparing to the small instructions on the side of ar holding a bulk purchase Cons: -the vial doesn’t accommodate the full length of the strip, so it's not useful for evenly exposing every pad on the dipstick -no full instructions in packaging. There's a QR code that doesn’t take you to the instructions. Just the manufacturers web site. With PDFs that bury any information in a chatty congratulations for buying this. - The app is not useful. It mostly seems to wrap or duplicate the website. There's no results tracking in the app. - The best way to even know how to align the strip with the key is to look at the product image on this page - inconsistent results with the same sample at the same time - colors not represented on the results key, and yup, I checked very carefully to see that I was aligning the appropriate test pad and guide - no instructions as to factors (especially supplements) that can make readings inaccurate - test tub/flask is reusable, but no instructions on how best to clean it. Also not practical for initial collection for many people due to anatomic reality. - calcium reading seems dubious. A health care provider will use a dip stick to test for a lot of stuff. Especially for UTIs. Because cultures take.time, and UTIs can get ugly fast. They also offer a quick sense of liver function, kidneys, some readings that MAY indicate metabolic conditions like diabetes. Real urine tests for calcium involve very involved collection protocols--usually you collect 24 hours, starting with your second bladder void after waking. Compare that to a dipstick test. I'm still looking to find a reputable discussion of using them in this way for hyper/hypocalcaecemia I bought these instead of the Diagnox/Urinox-10 individually packaged tests I had used for a year. If you aren't seeking the calcium test pad, I recommend a trial run with those and its accompanying app. My rating really reflects the inconsistent results and the test pads that show colors not on the guide. The rest is just stuff that might be of interest.

I really wanted an at home urine test strips to monitor Blood and Protein in a urine. Most of the test strips that I searched don’t have the Blood and Protein parameters. I finally found Nurse Hatty’s URI-10 script test kit and I am glad I bought it. I had a great customer service experience with Nurse Hatty. If you have any problems with her kit or have questions, she promptly responds your email to solve your issue. Overall, I am really happy with the product and excellent customer service.

As you can see in the picture the ketone square on my dipsticks had a gray color which isn't even represented on their color chart! My urine specific gravity is showing as the highest reading, but I've never had a USG reading over 1.010 at the Dr office, and I have had several, with 90% of my readings at 1.003. Therefore this is VERY inaccurate. I did 2 tests at the same time because of the reviews I read before purchasing,so the only good thing is the dipsticks had the same results (even though they were wrong). Waste of money, sorry

These tests are great! I’ve bought many in the past and they have always came in a container and you had to open all at once. These come in packages of 10 which is awesome so if you don’t always use them often you aren’t wasting them all! I’ve had some in the past that give inaccurate results if they are all opened and left for months in the bottle.

Urine testing for blood and utis

These strips seem to be very accurate. I like the fact they come in sealed foil packages of 5, that way you are not opening the whole container and they will last longer.

Gives false readings. Thought I had all sorts of issues which turns out I don't. Waste of time and money on this.
