Blitzkrieg Components Spike Front Sight Post for MBUS PRO® - Black w/Tritium Dot

Follow the instructions and the sight fits as advertised. White dot assists with aiming during daylight. Tritium insert glows well in the dark. I appreciate the width of the sight - a little easier for my old eyes to acquire over the original thin front sight post.

Bought this for my work rifle. I did a little research before purchasing, and so far I am very happy with product. The Amazon picture initially showed a Trijicon installed tritium tube but the product website explained that the company changed their supplier to Ameriglo. Nothing misleading when people actually research the product, so I wasn't surprised when I received my order. It was easy to install, easy to zero, and the tritium is clearly visible in the dark. Definitely an improvement from the OEM sight post. I'd like to see some bright color around the tritium to help with quick daylight target acquisition, but still happy with the product as is.

This thing didn’t fit at all and messed up my front sight so I had to get another one. I tried returning this garbage but it’s completely out of pocket so I’m just throwing it away.

I wanted to love this product, and I honestly think that it's shortcomings are no fault of Blitzkrieg, hence my 3 star rating. However, I cannot recommend this product in good faith. The major issue is that the tritium is essentially undetectable or unusable when using the MBUS pro sights in low light conditions. In bright and even dim conditions, the dark silhouette and fine point of the Blitzkrieg sight is easy to make out, and the fine point allows for precise shots at some distance. However, in low light, when viewing the front sight through the standard rear aperture, the tritium's glow is insufficient and the front sight seems invisible. If the CQB aperture is opened, the front sight post's glow can be dimly made out, but it's position in the rear sight cannot be determined by the human eye without ambient lighting.Long story short, we want glowing tritium sights for night time use without nods. The Blitzkrieg tritium front post does not facilitate night time use whatsoever. If Magpul or Blitzkrieg offered tritium rear irons for the MBUS pros, it might be a more viable solution. However, this front sight post only works well in lit conditions.

Doesn't say Trijicon which doesn't bother me but other than that awesome and very bright front sight post

Very easy to install but the tritium is super dim, like hard to see with the lights out dim.I’m also unable to use the tip of the spike for fine aiming because the post won’t drop any further but it shoots true to the dot, not what I was looking for though.

It took a while to first get the threads lined up and installed, but I love it now that it’s functioning, I love the new sight. It’s very tight and looks great!
