SO AMAZING!
I used to despise reading and hated just the thought of it really. But after I found out about this book I was very intrigued. From the first chapter I knew I was hooked! The humor and adorable love story of Bree and Nathan is so heartwarming! I couldn’t wait to turn the page and see what happened next. I’ve never been so invested in reading something in my entire life and I dreaded the moment when I would have to finish the book. I just wanted the sweet love story to go on forever. I also cannot tell you how many times I physically laughed out loud at this book! The love story was beautiful and the way their story was written was perfect! But I think my favorite part was the fact that I literally couldn’t stop smiling the whole time I read this book! It was so funny and quirky and fits my personality to a T! Overall the best book I’ve probably ever read and I would definitely recommend a 100% if you love cute, quirky, sweet, heartwarming, love stories! And…….NO SMUT!

Entertaining but imperfect
I was 20% of the way into the book & feeling disappointed. It was following the cookie cutter friends-to-lovers pattern. In fairness, though, I must admit that it's one of my least favorite tropes. One of the reasons it isn't a favorite is because the plot is so limited: lifelong friends who secretly love each other but don't want to say anything lest they ruin the friendship. There are so few variations available within that, so it's like reading the same story almost every time. Happily, at 21% we meet Nathan's awesome teammates, & it's a new ballgame! So to speak. Nathan's teammates as his romance advisors were pretty hilarious. Bree's sister Lily is fun, too - and it really helps that she gets to say the things to Bree that the reader badly wants to. Nathan knows Bree went thru some dark stuff, but he's not entirely sure what happened, & he doesn't want to shake up her world too much. And it's a smart approach because Bree is frustratingly fragile. And that's the main problem with this otherwise fun book - Bree's issues are dragged out to the point that she looks like she shouldn't have stopped therapy. The constant fear & foot dragging are overdone. The actual forward development is regularly pushed into the background by her constant lusty obsession with his body competing with her nearly schizophrenic effort to keep him friendzoned long past the point where it's even remotely reasonable. It makes it difficult to believe how quickly she seems to move past those fears & into the strong confidence she displays once she fiiinally decides to chance it. Thankfully, the storyline takes another turn as we discover that Nathan is struggling with some things, too. When the focus is on their love for each other, it's a really touching story. Frankly, in the hands of a less competent author, this would've been a 3 or 3.5 star rating, & like others, I was disappointed that the tone of this book is a bit more lowbrow than her previous efforts, but Sarah Adams does write entertaining dialogue, so I'm giving it a 4. *Romance level: passionate kisses, nothing graphic - though there are references to sex, impotence, celibacy, "dingaling", boobs, nude photos, a stereotypical gay hair dresser, + a wedding night scene with some undressing before things fade-to-black *Language: about 3 dozen of the common swears

READ IT! 1000% RECOMMENDED
THIS IS LIKE A KDRAMA IN A BOOK! I personally enjoy the book better if the ‘intimacy’ between the MMC and FMC are not fully detailed where the A&P of the human beings are not fully described. For me, it gives the relationship and interactions more focused on than the intimacy part. Hence, this book is highly recommended for everyone in different level of spice preference! Bree and Nathan’s bond and relationship is such a dream. Bree, Nathan, and Nathan’s mates are hilarious all together! It got me laughing out loud, teary eyed, crying, and all the emotions in between. This book did not bore me even once. For those who loves funny, chaotic, trying-best-to-hide-feelings, love story with no explicit contents, THIS IS THE BOOK FOR YOU! Actually, THIS BOOK IS FOR EVERYONE!

A Sweet Playbook for Love!
The Cheat Sheet is a lighthearted, friends-to-lovers romance with a charming setup and plenty of sweet moments. The story follows Nathan, an NFL quarterback, and Bree, a ballet studio owner, who have been best friends since high school. Their chemistry is undeniable, but neither has dared to confess their true feelings—until a viral drunken confession forces them into a fake dating arrangement. This book had a very YA feel, despite the characters being adults. Bree’s antics, in particular, felt very high school-ish at times, making her seem a bit immature for her age. That said, the story was undeniably cute, and even when it veered into cheesy territory, it remained an easy, enjoyable read. The audiobook narration was well done, with Renee Dorian and Teddy Hamilton bringing the characters to life. Teddy, did a fantastic job capturing Nathan’s personality, and Renée gave Bree a fun and energetic voice that matched her character. Their performances made the story even more engaging, adding warmth and personality to the narrative. Overall, The Cheat Sheet is a fun, fluffy listen, perfect for those who love low-angst, feel-good romance. While the immaturity of the characters held it back for me, the undeniable chemistry, humor, and solid narration made it a pleasant experience. If you’re in the mood for something light, sweet, and a little cheesy, this is a great choice!

All the feels to make a romantic heart happy!
I'm not a contemporary romance reader, but I'd seen this book around so much that all the positive reviews and quotes piqued my interest. One day, I was just in the mood for a light, fluffy love story that would make me laugh and fall in love with the characters. And this book delivered on every point! I instantly fell in love with Bree and Nathan. Bree has such a fun personality, and Nathan is so sweet! Their banter and interactions made me laugh so many times. I loved how they supported and cared for each other throughout not only their struggles but also their everyday lives. Nathan's teammates were great, and I enjoyed every scene with them. Seriously, I laughed so much during this book. There was one side character who annoyed me and I could've done with less innuendo, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Everything else was really good! Despite being outside of my typical genres, I had a great time with this book. I recommend The Cheat Sheet to anyone looking for a friends-to-lovers romance with great banter, low spice, and all the feels to make a romantic heart happy! Content: Romance - closed door/fade to black with kisses and make-outs; frequent innuendo Foul Language - infrequent strong language Violence - none

Loved it! You have to read it!
Sarah Adams is one of my all-time favorites and she scored a game-winning touchdown with The Cheat Sheet! It will for sure be one of my favorites of the year! Prepare to have your heart explode! This friends-to-lovers story is adorable, laugh-out-loud funny, and full of so many sweet and tender moments that my heart exploded. Don’t say I didn’t warn you! I just loved Bree and Nathan. Their friendship is so sweet and as the reader you can just see the love they have for each other. I wanted to shout, “JUST TELL EACH OTHER HOW YOU FEEL ALREADY” but where is the fun in that? Their story is a very slow burn, but Sarah Adams gives us just enough to keep us happy and thoroughly invested as the story progresses! The dual perspectives works so perfectly, but Nathan stole the show for me. I loved hearing his thoughts and feelings and he was just so swoony! He is now among one of my top book boyfriends. Nathan does deal with anxiety and panic attacks in the story and I related even more to him as he learns more about himself and his limits. If you are questioning my love, just know I had to buy a Los Angeles Sharks sweatshirt to display my love for Nathan with pride! I have no shame! Seriously if you have not read a book by Sarah Adams yet, you need to remedy that immediately! If you love cozy and sweet closed door contemporary romances with a little bit of sizzle and that will leave a smile on your face, you have to read The Cheat Sheet! Thank you so much to Sarah Adams and Netgalley for the gifted copy! All opinions are my own.

Loved!
LOVE! I absolutely adored this book and have read it more than once. The opening chapter alone is hilarious and makes you fall in love with Bree. She's hilarious, sassy, and a fiercely loyal friend. It was easy to connect with her character. She worked hard to make ends meet and follow her dreams. Meanwhile her best friend is a famous football star. I thoroughly enjoyed their relationship and the way they interacted/treated each other. You could feel the longing. Friends-to-lovers, yes please! I also appreciated how the author covered the topic of anxiety. It was handled well and showed how it can happen to anyone, famous or not. Fantastic read you should add to your TBR! Enjoy!
