Amazing read and write speeds

Already tried it on 2 different laptops, Mac and Windows, and the device is not recognized. Like the computer doesn't completely react when it's plugged in. Waste of time and money.

I got the Pariot drive to replace an old USB 2.0 drive, so anything would feel fast, but per the attached images it is doing a good job of getting around 570MB/s write and 380 MB/s read in real-world testing with a single large file (Windows 11 installation ISO file). Fast write speeds are what I was after, so I'm very happy with it so far. The 5 year warranty is nice to have too.

This drive is amazing. I write large amount of files at one time , sometimes over 100 GBs. It's faster on large transfers than any other drive , including the ones that say they faster. I'm hitting 500 M/S write sometimes. I don't know why they sat it's write speed is so low. I like these so much that I bought 6 of different sizes. Please note that this review was based on a laptop with USB 3.2 Gen1. USB 3.2 Gen 2 is a different story.

There’s not much to dislike about this product. Pros: The advertised read speed is accurate, it supports the latest Type A specification (USB 3.2 Gen2), you get a lot of storage space for the price, and it comes with a 5 year warranty. Also, it doesn’t come with a cap that you will just end up losing if it did, AND it has a drive activity LED. Cons: The drive activity LED is soldered to the end of the board and is red. It is not very bright, but that wouldn’t matter if there was a clear window to see the red LED properly. All you see is the red LED trying to shine through the opaque white plastic case. In bright rooms, it’s hard to see the LED, which makes it difficult to know if the drive has frozen or is working normally. I guess they couldn’t spare the cost to implement a clear LED viewing window? 😅🥲 Overall, for the price it is not a bad purchase. You COULD get a 128GB dual port (USB TYPE C and TYPE A) drive that supports faster speeds for around the same price, but most of those faster drives have a problem with overheating. The patriot drive gets a little warm but it has never gotten what I would call “hot” yet, which is good for reliability, and tells me the controller chip has thermal management and does not allow itself to overheat just to have a slightly higher read and write speed.
