Husky 87641 Brute Electric Jack with Wireless Remote - 4500 lbs. Capacity

Installed this on a 20 ft boat trailer, took about one hour using a side mount bracket and the electrical connection. That includes removing my old crank jack . Jack takes about 28 second. To raise my boat up off my hitch with the drop down piece extended. And 58 seconds when it is not extended. Units is fairly quiet which is a plus! As for power I hook up a seven pin connector with 8 ft cord . This works great on my 4Runner! I also took the male end of the cord and connected it directly to the battery on my trailer dolly. I now have two ways to power the electric jack. I highly recommend the jack.

Wicked easy to install, one wire to the positive and done. So easy I installed it in the dark with only the front light of my toyhauler on. I soidered my connections, however, a simple butt connector would do. The remote has a great range. I was working in the garage about 100 feet away and it worked like a champ. I expected a lower quality remote, but these are well constructed and solid. Quick rise and fall and it's nice to have the leg extension, no more lugging a big block of wood around. I looked at several reviews on Amazon and on the net before purchasing this unit. In all I found this is the best. Definitively worth the little more ! Update 5 years later: remote function went out last year-no replacement, “have to buy a new unit”-Husky. Last trip the stop function went out. Still jacks up, however had to use my trailer jacks to keep the tongue from falling. 5 years I guess that’s good. Had it on two different RVs. Used it for hitch stabilizer application. I know that takes a lot out of these jacks.

This item is heavy. It is well constructed, with no chintzy plastic pieces and well suited for big travel trailers. I chose this model because it also has a remote feature as well as I believe in making sure that it will handle the job. Many would say it's over kill for my 7000Lb(loaded) travel trailer, The tongue weight is about 800Lb. This beauty can handle 4500Lb. Installation was a snap, it fit like a well crafted puzzle piece and I was able to complete the job, including removal of the old jack inside of 30Mins using minimal tools. I had to remove the attached bracket that holds the 7-way connector as it got in the way of my gas tank cover. I have a different connector anyway and it wouldn't have fit. Works like a charm.

This worked great when i first got it. I use it with my backup camera and it makes hooking up my camper a breeze. Now i have to beat on it to get the remote to work which is frustrating. When it works it gets 10 stars, when it don't it get minus 10. There is no customer service to contact. When you buy it, it is yours!

Replaced the Lippert Smart jack on our Lance 1685. It lasted 4 years and worked overall fine. Added this Husky with the remote and I am VERY happy. The remote control is a game changer. I am often doing set up by myself or trying to get the family to read the level inside. With the remote you can stand in the camper and dial it in. Convenient for sure.

Amazon's price with free shipping could not be beat by any RV store or website. The jack was easy to install and wiring was a snap. The remote feature is nice and worth the extra $$ (IMHO). The wife says,"I don't see the benefit of standing right next to the jack, using the remote, when you can just use the switch on the jack". Then she saw me level the trailer standing around the corner from the jack while I watched the bubble on the side of the trailer. No going back and forth from bubble to jack, or getting her to come watch the bubble while I work the jack. She finally saw the light and loved it. One caution - make sure the buttons on the remote are covered with the built in slide cover when you put the remote in your pocket. Otherwise, you could inadvertently activate the jack when squatting or leaning against something. Happened to me!! I thought the jack was going nuts on it's own until I figured that one out.

The jack itself works properly and is strong. It does drift downward if the brake on the jack isn't set. The remote has quit working. I've changed the battery, which, by the way, is LR27A. That information is found nowhere on the internet, so you read it here first. (Also, Batteries Plus Bulbs has them locally) But that didn't fix the remote. I've emailed support. If they are able to fix it or replace this <1 year old remote, I may upgrade the review. But the remote was a selling point and I paid extra for it. I expect it to work for the entire life of the jack. Not for a couple of months.

Easy installation, great power for lifting 31ft RV and the wireless option included allows easier hook up giving you full control over the jack when backing up to the ball. Very Happy!

This jack is awesome! Remotes work beautifully...I adjust the jack while backing up with the truck, watching in the rear camera ! Highly recommend!

Came in a beat up box , opened the box and found the unit to be used and does not work . Complete crap

This is the second one in 3 years. The first started to fail. I think the inner tube bent and it wouldn’t lower probably
