WOW! The best body wash I have ever used, and I have used a lot of them. Not only is it naturally anti-fungal and anti-bacterial, but it actually moisturizes me, and I am super picky about that. I strongly recommend this body wash regardless of your daily activity, as it will leave you feeling nice and clean and moisturized. I use with a plastic loofah, and it lathers up really well. Not sure about how it might lather in a wash cloth, but my guess it may not do as well there. The peppermint scent is awesome, and I am going to try the "original" scent next.

Once or twice a year I'd have to go to the doctor because I'd get an irritated ingrown that would turn to a skin infection. It's been horrible. Painful, embarrassing, and sometimes terrifying, always inconvenient.I'm an extremely hygienic person, i like to get dirty but I always clean up. I even shower on camping trips! I find a way. So this has been a nightmare.I used to wash with antibacterial soap, then I tried all kinds of different soaps. In a flush of desperation sprinkled with hope, I found Defense Soap. The fact it was created by a Wrestling Coach for wrestlers and martial artists as well as gym rats it was already speaking my language. I've been all of those except a wrestler and shockingly never got a skin infection but wonder if maybe thats what made me a mrsa carrier.Since taking this, I've never had a skin infection anywhere that I've used it. It's worked amazingly well. It smells great, it's incredibly concentrated. It lasts a long time .I have been using it for over a year and will continue to use it. You only need a small amount and it does take a little longer to lather it up but lather it does. Tons! Don't go nuts with it because it will get there just gotta put a little work into it.It's not cheap but if you use a small amount (dime to quarter size depending on what you prefer) and lather up, add a small amount of water, lather a bit more...you'll find you dont need much and it'll last you a while. One bottle lasts me about two months. Which is excellent.I'm happy to spend $8-9 / month to have peace of mind, healthy skin, and smell good right out of the shower!I can't thank the creator of this product enough...truly. It's been hell dealing with this issue and being worried all the time about another inflamed ingrown. Being a clean freak I have driven myself up the walls over the years since these outbreaks began and now I'll be two years without anything anywhere I've used it.God Bless you guys, truly!

I have been using the Defense Soap Organic Peppermint + Tea Tree Body Wash Combo for a few weeks now and I am really impressed. I work in healthcare and see all kinds of communicable diseases and rashes. I also have sensitive skin and sweat A LOT. I work 12-14 hour shifts and walk 10-12k steps per day. I was looking for a wash that could keep me clean whilst helping with the occasional skin breakout. This product arrived quickly and I used it without hesitation. Within a week, my rash cleared up and my sweat no longer smells. I never smelled horribly as I showered twice a day, but I had an odor that was present, if that makes sense. Defense has a tingling sensation occasionally but I don’t think the smell is as strong as others have claimed. I use lotion over it as well as perfume. Now it’s a part of my daily hygiene routine! I swear by it

I love this soap! I originally purchased for two reasons: 1, to have on hand if I decided to join the gym and shower there and 2, I was developing small bumps on the sides of my back from night sweats.I have discovered so many additional reasons to repurchase though!This stuff smells exactly what you would think of when you look at the included essential oils, and nothing more. No yucky added detergents or unnecessary fragrances.It suds up wonderfully with or without a scrubby. I prefer to use my hands as I don’t like to irritate my skin, my husband will only use a scrubby and we have both come to love this.I let it set while I move on to other things, as recommended.My back cleared up quickly- although it was a minor case, I still feel lucky and relieved to have such a quick resolution! I’m now using it to help clear up my husbands back so I can stop picking at his zits back there- he will love that :)I will say, I like to shower every day. This can be a tad drying at first- but keep in mind it’s only because it does not have added silicones and extra junk to give the *illusion* of moisture. It will regulate your own bodies ability to retain its moisture. The dryness was very mild and very short lived.I took one star due to price and packaging. Not to be funny (ok maybe I’m trying a little)- I know this was created with athletes in mind..but I don’t want to have to BE an athlete to use this every day. My husband and I both agree you have to squeeze a little too hard to get this out of the bottle. I have small hands and have to use a little more effort to squeeze this soap.The price doesn’t bother me personally, I understand quality costs money. But I know it is definitely a factor to some- but please know it is worth it for all the extra benefits!I will repurchase, and definitely recommend!
