Great Product for Converting Traditional Grill to Griddle
Got this at Christmas and we've used it many days since. I do agree it could be buffed more around the edges to ease those and the corners some since they do tend to be a bit sharp (although one could do that oneself if it really bothers one :) ). But it is very easy to clean which was the main issue I have with my grill which is a pain to clean and only cooks well when it is clean. So we decided to try this griddle top. It fits just right on my grill (but please measure yours - the size given for this top is accurate), and it is not warping since the burners on my grill are lower and not blasting the griddle directly. A few minutes with a scrubby sponge or brillo pad in a utility sink and it's clean enough for the next cook - you will never get it shiny new again esp around the edges and corners, but hey, it's a griddle not a chrome bumper. We have cooked many smash burgers, bacon, chicken tenders and pancakes since getting this piece and everything has come out great. Since it is a thin sheet of stainless steel and not a thick slab of cast iron like on a blackstone or other flat-top, it does not hold vast amounts of heat so searing meat is not really as possible to do with this griddle but everything does cook fine and cleanup is quick and simple. I will undoubtedly do a lot more cooking with this top than with the original grill components. Definitely recommend.

Good but needs improvement
Well this does what I wanted it to, and it fits my grill just fine, but it could be better. In that, I think it should have a small lip with a single drain area at the top of the drip pan so that the oil/liquid used when cooking doesn’t drain into the drain pan so quickly. The finished edges are very sharp and rough. They should have been buffed/filed to prevent cuts when handling the griddle. It also doesn’t lay flat on the grill grates due to slight warping after being heated up several times. And don’t expect to keep this shinny clean, because it won’t. I scoure it with a steel pad to clean it up but there will always be dark stains on the surface. That is just a fact of using stainless steel for high-heat cooking. That is not the fault of the product. All that said, I use this quite often and think it serves me well. It is not a commercial flat-top griddle, but it works just fine on my grill.

No Grease fires and ease of cleaning
We tried many different types of Griddles and this one is absolutely perfect. It's easy to scrape clean after use and it will not cause a grease fire due to it overflowing of grease into the grill. The grill itself is not overloaded with grease as its catch capacity, like most BBQ grills its limited. When it cools down, we just pick it up by the handles on the griddle and pour the grease from the front grease catcher. Then wipe the grease catch reservoir with a paper towel. Very easy. There are way more expensive griddles made by Weber and Broil King but these will still not address my grease fire concerns. This griddle is a bargain and top quality! Highly recommended!

It does work, but the metal is thin
Upon reading the numerous reviews, some good some bad, I have to say it works well and more importantly it has a decent sized grease trap. We have a 36 inch range with a grill in the middle. This fits well over the grill and holds the grease without making a huge mess and it really tames the grease splatter from bacon. It doesn’t do well over burners, direct close heat is not good, it instantly burned the metal where it made contact with the heat. It’s light, super light and easy to move. But it’s too light, the metal is thin. The heat transfer isn’t well proportioned because of this. It’s an inexpensive way to have a griddle for your grill. I am still hoping it will get seasoned and have an improved cooking experience. You get what you pay for here.

Easy to use and easy to clean.
Love this flat top. I can grill and use my flat top at the same time. I sits right on top of my grill. Easy to clean. Did smash burgers on this so great. It's easy to use doesn't weigh that much.

Over priced and badly designed
I hate to say but if would not buy this griddle again for several reasons.First the good. I have a 5 burner gas grill and it fits perfectly. And that's about it.The griddle came in a box with a bag containing 2 handles and 4 bolts and no instructions. Nothing on assembly, no care and maintenance, nothing on seasoning, nothing. One of the bolts fits on the handle then you pass it through the side and attach the other bolt. Unfortunately this bolt gets in the way when you're trying to clean it or scrape food from the edges and I even caught my hand on it. I would have much preferred welded handled. I'm probably going to remove them. The grease tray doesn't detach, there's no hole or anything so all your waste collects. The only way to empty it is to either scoop it out, or wait until its cool and tip it over, but then you have cold food and grease stuck inside the grease tray.I got the surface temperature of the griddle upto 350F but once I started putting food on it went down quickly and it was hard to get it to come back up to temperature, even with 5 burners going at full. Next time I use it I may remove the heat distribution tents, if there's a way to keep the grill off the burners themselves. I'll try it at a higher temperature next time, but it took quite a while to get to 350F and I was running short on time.It took a lot longer for the rice to cook than I expected and the eggs took ages to scramble. One tip, if you use this or any griddle, make sure it's level. A lot of the oil ran to the back of the plate since I was on a bit of a slope.A couple more good points. The food tasted delicious once it was finally cooked. The heat spread well and it's very sturdy, but overall I'm disappointed in the design and difficulty in cleaning it.
