Can this be used to supply a toilet?

Yes. Definitely. That's EXACTLY what I bought it for and am currently using it for; I have one outlet going to the toilet cistern, and the other outlet going to a bidet attachment. Also note, I have very low water pressure in my plumbing to the toilet but fitting this did not significantly reduce water flow. The connectors on this part are the standard size for U.K. toilet so no reducer adapters or things of that nature will be required.

Can this be used to split cold water mains to a dishawasher and fridge freezer ice box?

Possibly, if you use a double check valve on the output to the dish washer so you do not get and "flow bac"k from the dish washer to the ice making box.. If you are not sure check with your water supplier/qualified plumber.

can you get handles in a different colour, that orange looks mank and is the side outlet left or right your pics show both?

it's great I use it for the purpose for which I bought it.
