I had originally started out with the basic Rustler 4x4 brushed model, and after a year or so, wanted to start making upgrades. First was the light kit, which at the time was only offered as a stand alone kit, then the Vileneon brushless motor and esc, and then last week the aluminum center drive shaft. This week was the center brace, and I had no problems installing it, and was very happy it had two mounting pads built in to move the light kit control box, as you have to remove it to install the brace. I read some people who bought it were upset because they thought they could have one or the other, but not both. Definitely not the case here.. must have been user’s inability to figure things out as it doesn’t really say in the instructions. Excellent upgrade for the rustler (or slash with low CG chassis) 4x4. It will fit brushed or brushless since the chassis for either setup is the same.

No issues, very strong. Looks good.
