Beware! This incoherent nonsense was apparently produced by a fake publication mill.
This and another book of the same title by different subtitles from the same unnamed publisher in San Bernardino appear to be products of a fake publishing mill. I have a large library of books about critical thinking, but these two books will not be among them. I was deceived by the fact that this book has over 300 Amazon reviews with an average rating of 4.5 stars. Being a critical thinker myself, the fact that a book on this topic by an unknown author received this many reviews, rather than the handful that is typical, should have made me suspicious. It's possible that all of the positive reviews were faked by the publisher. Unfortunately, fake reviews are easy to generate. This book consists of 96 pages of huge type with large spaces in between the paragraphs and bullet points. If it were printed properly, it would perhaps consist of 40 pages. The content is absolute drivel. Here's a complete paragraph, picked at random, from the chapter on "Inductive and Deductive Reasoning": "Clarity of Thought: Reacting to the situation in an adverse way can muddle up your thoughts. Assessment of how the land lies needs to beccome second nature. Similarly, if you fall sick, your thoughts might remain muddled. If you have doubts about your health, you may not want to make important decisions or pass judgments." It's likely that this content was largely generated by a computer program, and not a smart one.Do not be fooled by this nonsense.

Think Different!
I found this book to be very motivational. I was considering the paperback but since the ebook was in my price range I decided to give it a try. If you are finding yourself stuck in deciding life decisions, the route you want to go in this world, or if you want to change the way you are doing things completely, then this book will help. Brings you back to the history of critical thinkers. Mentions Niccolo Machiavelli's work and his beliefs. Book will teach you certain skills needed to help, and procedures as well. This book goes in well with detail on living a critical thinking life. Definitely, gives you different ideas and different techniques to apply. For the people starting new to this. This is a good book to start with.

Awesome
It has a bunch of little tips and guides throughout the book to help one improve their brain power. One major theme of the book is questioning our own interpretations and those of others. We have to be critical and analytical of our own assumptions and biases. Bradley also stresses regular exercise to improve brain functioning. It helps supply oxygen to our cortex to think clearer. And finally we should diversify our challenges to constantly seek new summits to reach. I highly recommend this book. Excellent and short read!

Mildly disappointed
It reads like speculation. There are no references to studies or sources cited. It definitely tells you that you want to think critically, yet provides little direction in doing so.

A waste of money
I fell into the trap of thinking the book had a great title. I did not look at reviews but if I had I would probably have accepted some of the good reviews. There is no biographical information on the authors, and there is no bibliography of sources. I suspect that they just picked up some ideas from various books; they did not do any direct quoting of from the large number of 'thinking research' done over a period of years. It was clearly a waste of my money, but it was my fault for not 'critically thinking' about the purchase. Who In the world gave these authors the idea that they were competent to write on such a complex topic?!

It taught me how to structure the critical thinking process and how best to arrive at good decisions
This book left me wiser. It taught me how to structure the critical thinking process and how best to arrive at good decisions. The two authors know this subject well and I think the information I got from this book will help me in business and in my relationships. I won’t give the books 5 stars because I haven’t yet tested what I learnt from it in the real world.
