Great kit. This has everything you need for a weekend of projects. Great value. I bought three, for the matrix's, lcd screens, neopixel rings. The pico is included. Only a Pico (1). Tho it is more than enough computational power for most projects.

Fun a little hard at first but good to use

There are many versions of the Raspberry Pi Pico Basic Starter Kit just as there are Arduino Starter Kit. GeeekPi one is cheap and have limited sensor projects. There is a good handbook to go with the projects. I love the LED project.

As a hobbyist, I appreciated all of the items I could tinker with to discover working with the Pico. Yes, they are simplistic, and the book is only a minor help. But for getting started and getting your creativity flowing, this kit works. Fooling with the basic parts allows one to stay thinking of possibilities, which is really the goal here. For example, I worked with the neopixel ring, then thought I'd how can I integrate the PIR sensor into it. Learn to stack one skill with the next, and you're off and creating.

Decent little Pi starter kit. Comes with the non-wireless Rasberry Pi Pico, a number of components and sensors, and a little kit to hold it all. Only real complaint I had was that the instructions for the projects were basically to drag and drop files. It gave no practical experience with coding in CircuitPython. Aside from that, components are decent quality. Few bent pins here or there, but nothing that couldn't be straightened out or adjusted. Gave it 5 stars because even with the lack of instruction on coding, the kit has great bang for its buck. Definitely recommend.
